🍓 How to turn convos into clients (without being salesy)
Since I have to help 69 people go on skool full time in a year: most people don’t have a sales problem they have a conversation problem or honestly… a panic-after-the-reply problem they either: 👉 don’t reach out at all 👉 OR someone replies and they suddenly become LinkedinGPT “hey bro wanna hop on a call” instant ignore so HERES the friggin breakdown: you don’t get clients by selling you get clients by: 👉 understanding the problem better than they do that’s it when someone feels understood they naturally trust you and trust = money so instead of trying to “close” do this: ask: 👉 what are you struggling with right now? then: 👉 why is that happening? then: 👉 what have you tried? most people stop here don’t this is where u win you say: 👉 “ok… here’s what id do” and you walk them through it no pitch no pressure just clarity and then… if they say:“can you help me with this?” you say:👉 “yeah, we can do it together” THAT is the sale not convincing not pushing just :👉 being useful first now here’s the part people mess up: they try to scale before they can do this nope get 3–5 people results like this first THEN worry about scaling so today: 👉 have 3 real convos 👉 try to actually help 👉 don’t pitch if you do it right you won’t need to need help doing this? book a call w my team HERE don’t believe me. test it 🪿

Thank you for these helpful steps!
💌 Who deserves your thanks this week?
Halt, hooman. Your Emperor of Culture is conducting a weekly gratitude inspection. In every community there are quiet heroes: - the hooman who answered your question, - the mentor whose post you keep re‑reading, - the friend who dragged you back in here when you disappeared. I want you to name them. - Who made your week better inside this community? - Whose message, call, or comment actually helped you move? - Who deserves a public “thank you” so they know they’re seen? Tag that hooman (or several) in the comments and tell them why you’re grateful. Make appreciation a hooman thing again, not a rare accident. Your Emperor is watching who you raise up. Yours truly, The Skool Cat 🐾

@Mary Wilmer I truly enjoy your community and friendship. I am learning so much from you. I’m so grateful to you for the questions that cause me to think deeper. This has helped my introverted self to share openly in the community or where ever you post! 🤩.
Another Day of Showing Up
Nothing dramatic happened today. But you still showed up. That’s not nothing. Maybe there was no breakthrough. No big realization. No moment where everything suddenly made sense. But you checked in. You stayed with what you said you would. You didn’t avoid it or put it off again. That matters. A lot of progress looks like this. Quiet. Ordinary. Easy to miss. These days don’t feel impressive, so the brain tends to discount them. But they’re usually the ones that keep things moving. So if today felt pretty uneventful, it doesn’t mean it didn’t count. You showed up. And days like this tend to add up.

@Mary Wilmer Thank you 🤠 I am showing up and I am trusting the process - Tomorrow morning and for the next 3 days!
Quick progress check-in for my community revamp
I’m in the middle of finishing up some foundational pieces for my community (the stuff that really defines what it’s about) and I’m also working on my first paid product. Everything’s moving forward, just slower than I’d like. 🐌 I did spend a good chunk of time mapping out what the community will look like once the revamp is finished, which was necessary… and that also took a minute. What’s been interesting is realizing that this current phase has proven to be about way more than rebuilding or creating! It’s turned into a lesson in patience which I CLEARLY haven't finished learning! I honestly thought I’d already worked through that. Jokes on me, right? 🤣🤣🤣 I'm finally accepting that I'm really not stuck or off track. I'm just learning (and re-learning) to let things take the time they actually need. And sometimes that feels like a big fat UGH to me!!! 😡🤬 And that's okay!

im seriously so excited for this shit. i think ur really gonna love it too. (most of it is completely free, so plz use it) 3 things launch this december!!! 1. Good News 2. Skool CRM for Hobby Plans 3. (Untitled Project) 1. Good News - A weekly program where we feature just really good news in the world. - You can submit good news that you hear about for us to read off too!! - Will DEF include a section about the personal wins members have too!! DUH 2. Skool CRM - FOR THE FIRST TIME usable for people on the skool hobby plan - I recommend everyone growing a skool have the $9 to track all of their members 3. (Untitled Project) - (help me name it?) - I used to charge 15-30k for full DFY biz buildouts on skool - i dont have time for that 1-on-1 stuff anymore, BUT i get requests all the time - SO i will make a YT series about building a community from 0-100 + you can follow along @Jas Lee-lo Smith reminds me to stop being so damn humble about this... so i will say this instead: After everything that I’ve experinced There is not a single person that understands more about building and running community. So i hope you put these things that me and my team have built to REALLY good use. ur welcy
