I'm here to sharpen my skills as a connector, collaborate, and network with all of you. A bit about me: I recently moved to Reno about a year ago from Hawaii. As for 'Why Reno?'—my son's football career took him to Feather River College in Quincy, and Reno was the closest city where my husband and I could secure jobs before moving. It also worked out perfectly for my real estate investing, which I can do anywhere. In fact, I just started a great job as a bus driver for a fabulous resort in Truckee! Thanks for allowing us to join your community. We are new RE investors in Virginia Beach and are focused on commercial multifamily apartment complexes. I own an accounting firm and my wife is in the medical field. Our strategy is to purchase Core, Core Plus, or Value Add properties, hold to cash out refi at year 5 and potentially sell at year 10 or continue to hold for the cash flow and appreciation. Our Buy Box is 100-150 units of Class A & B properties to start with the intent to scale to larger deals. Our markets are Virginia, Florida, Texas (Austin, San Antonio, Houston), and Nashville, TN.
