Smothering Overthinking
We all get those, have that one circulating thought recursively looping with no clear path out nor any progress. and your brains feels heavier as it goes. Thinking of your brain as a tank filled with water, and overthinking would be making the water all over the place which makes it unclear. What you need to do is to get out of your head, distract your self by going to a pull mode task (more on that below). Getting out of your brain, leaving it from 30-90min to settle, only then the water stabilizes and you can see clearly. remove the emotions and get to motion : mohammed abusalama 2026 --- push mode vs pull mode task push is where the task need pure effort and will power like workign alone, journaling etc (nothing is immediately pulling you ) pull is something pulling you like group calls, friend calling you, reacting to something

planning, i wake up knowing what am gonna be doing. Yes yes, the accountability group chat it amazing. even when you are hitting a low, you see brother's wins, it shows you that you can come back from it. the live lessons, gives you some reality checks, asking questions, building a connection.
Spiritual state
The nafs. I will try to use different wording to the lesson here. Nafs can be in one of three levels, bad, good and great. (Alammara, Allawama, Almutmai'na ) THE bad, is the one where nafs is always pushing you to do bad, feeding desires, commiting sins with no remorse, no guilt. What is scary about this is the ghafla (غفلة/heedlessness), that you are unaware of the bad place the nafs has gotten to. THE good; the state where the nafs might push you towards sins with battles back and forth. Sometimes you win some times you lose. This level tho is where it feels remorse/guilt and seeks tawba. note: remember guys to never lose faith in allah, as he is most gracious and most forgiving. Never let the nafs stop you from tawba THE great: the tranquility level, the peaceful, the pure. This is the one that finds peace in quran and dhikr, the one that watches allah in every move and acts in according to our islamic nature and purpose. May Allah make our nafs the tranquil and peaceful. steps to enhance the nafs. prayer with khushuu, dhikr, quran, fasting (it breaks nafs), and always the good company. this one from me: learn more about allah.

Ramadan, the outcomes.....
In ramadan, we all do better, we reduce the sins, do more ibaada (alhamdulilah) and it is definitely a good thing. We need a change in mindset to make these ibaada does not only affect our time in ramadan, but us as human. We want ramadan to be the point where our trajectory as human aimed upwards. Lets focus on how will our time in ramadan will create habits that are lasting for a life time. Pick small habits/actions that you do in ramadan that you want it to become your normal behaviour after, it could be your nawafels, it could be prayer in mashed, more intentional duaa, more dikr, better relationships, more quran. What ever it is, make it that ramadan can be seen in you after. AVOID EID CRASH. We all become better in ramadan, shaytaan is out of the way and we alhamdulilah having ibaada more. Be very worried of going back to the old you as if ramadan never happend. Amma keep it short for this one, May allah help us all to become better version of ourselves. Assalam alaikum

Reduce sins, one by one
Imagine, if you after ramadan, you are one less daily sin that we are committing, thats 365 sins a year reduced. That is one sin less that is reducing our barakah. We need to have mindset shift, We want to become a person we dont recognize after ramadan.
