1. What I like about Catholic chant is the beauty of it's origin through our Catholic roots and identity, the structure and simplicity, and how it's meant to raise one's heart to God. I've often heard that the difference between Sacred Music and Praise & Worship is that Sacred Music is praising God's divinity and revealing His love for the Church and that Praise & Worship is responding to that love itself. Catholic Chant allows one to hear Christ singing to His Bridegroom - the Church. 2. I am blessed to hear and implement Catholic chant in my Internship at St. Therese Institute. In my daily life I will often listen to Gregorian Chant and Sacred Music to help me focus on my work and to allow God to pierce through my daily to make it more extraordinary. 3. I would love to see parishes implement more Sacred Music into the Mass.
