šŸ”„5 Things To Do For Your Spouse This Weekend
Husbands: šŸ’Ŗ 1. Give her a real break. Take the kids for 2–3 hours so she can rest, nap, or do something she loves without pressure. 2. Plan a surprise mini-date. It could be coffee + a walk. Show her you thought ahead. 3. Speak life over her. Tell her 3 specific things she’s doing well this week (motherhood, work, marriage). 4. Hold her without rushing. A long, slow 20–30 second hug lowers stress and increases connection. 5. Clean something without being asked. Dishes, laundry, car — small acts communicate huge love. Wives: šŸ‘° 1. Show appreciation for his effort. Tell him one thing he does that makes you feel safe, loved, or supported. 2. Initiate physical connection. A back rub, cuddling, kissing first — small intimacy builds big closeness. 3. Ask about his world. ā€œWhat’s something you’re excited about or stressed about this week?ā€ 4. Affirm his strengths. Men thrive on being reminded they have what it takes. 5. Create a peaceful moment together. Sit outside, watch a show, or go on a walk — no phones, no pressure.

Welcome to the community, and congrats on taking a big step for your marriage. Whether you're here for communication, intimacy, or faith, this space can truly impact your relationship, especially if you stay engaged. We are growing each week and it is great for fellow believers to know each other on the community šŸ˜„ Please introduce yourself in the comments and take some time to write the following: - How long have you been married? - What’s something awesome about your spouse? - What do you aim to achieve in the community? Please also go through the comments afterwards, see who is here and feel free to connect with people in the comments. (Always use the reply function for this) We are looking forward to meeting you! Married 11 years next month. My husband is very creative and very good at painting and drawing. He says the most awesome thing about me, is that I love him for who he is, and I don't expect him to be something he isn't. A breakthrough would be communication.
Weekly Challenge: Pick ONE small habit to start this week.
Examples: šŸ™Pray together before bed šŸ“Leave your spouse a sticky note of encouragement 🚶Go for a 5-minute walk after dinner šŸ’¬ Text one encouraging message during the day(ā€œThinking about you. You’re amazing. Can’t wait to see you tonight.ā€) šŸ’– Touch every time you pass each other. (A hand on the back, shoulder, or hug creates warmth.) šŸ“– Read a Proverb or short devotional together (Doesn’t have to be long—just intentional.) šŸ“… Schedule a weekly marriage check-in (What’s going well? What needs attention? Keep it low-pressure.) šŸæ Plan one no-phones night each week (Watch a movie, talk, play a game, or just cuddle—unplugged.) Drop your habit below and let’s cheer each other on!Let’s become the couple we’re called to be—one habit at a time.
