☀️ Something special is coming...
I'm very excited about this next offering here in Rooted in Nature. I am quietly creating it now and it will soon be ready. It's called 30 Days of Saying Hello to the Sun 🌿 This won't be about getting up at silly o'clock or watching spectacular sunrises every day. It's about something much simpler... Stepping outside each morning, taking a few mindful moments to greet the day, reconnecting with nature and discovering how just a little morning light can positively affect your mood, energy and wellbeing. There'll be gentle daily prompts, community encouragement and no pressure to be perfect—just an invitation to build a small habit that could make a big difference. I'm still putting the finishing touches together, but I'd love to know... 🌞 Would this be something you'd like to join? 🌿 What time do you usually wake up? I can't wait to share more with you very soon!

This sounds fab Lea! Great Idea x
🌙 What's Actually Inside the Premium Membership?
A few people have asked what is included inside the Premium Membership, so I thought I'd give you a little tour. When I created Rooted in Nature, I didn't want it to be another place filled with endless scrolling, adverts and surface-level inspiration. I wanted to create a library. A place where women could learn, grow, reflect, reconnect with nature and feel supported by a community of like-minded souls. Inside you'll currently find: 🌿 Your Wild Food Year — a huge library of seasonal foraging videos, recipes, webinars and plant wisdom (normally £97 on its own). 💎 Crystal Wisdom — a practical and grounded introduction to working with crystals in everyday life. 🌿 Earth Magic — simple rituals, moon wisdom, seasonal living and intention-setting practices. 🌙 The 21 Day Nature Reset — video library of gentle mindfulness practices to help you slow down and reconnect with the natural world. 🌿 Return to Calm — a growing library of nervous system support tools and resources. 📖 Downloadable journals, workbooks and planners, including the Self Reflection Journal, Feminine Energy Workbook and Moon Cycle Tracker. 🤝 Monthly Inner Compass coaching calls, where you'll be guided by me, Lea — an integrative counsellor, coach and nature-based wellbeing practitioner with nearly 20 years of experience supporting personal growth and transformation. 🌙 Seasonal celebration circles where we gather live to explore traditions, rituals, seasonal recipes, journaling prompts and ways to celebrate the turning of the wheel of the year together. And the best part? The library continues to grow month by month. Founding members can currently join for $12 per month and lock in that rate. I've attached a few screenshots below if you'd like to take a peek behind the scenes. And if you're curious about Your Wild Food Year, here's a short video introduction:https://youtu.be/kVyce3QmEF4?si=iAXHptnCt668AWGd If you've been enjoying the free community and wondering what lies beyond the gate, perhaps now is the time to come and explore a little deeper. 🌿✨

Thanks for sharing Lea x Sounds amazing!
🦉 Barn Owl Magic 🦉
I'm on a little mini break in the Lake District at the moment, and what a beautiful part of the world it is. Rolling hills, ancient trees, lakes, rivers and streams around every corner. It's a vast contrast to the Norfolk Broads, where you can see for miles with nothing interrupting the view. Here, every winding path reveals something new—hidden viewpoints, moss-covered rocks, cool woodland glades beneath thick tree canopies, ferns carpeting the ground, steep hills and valleys, wildflower meadows... and, of course, a cream tea stop at the end of a walk! Last night, James and I escaped for an evening stroll while his mum watched the children. We were treated to the sight of a barn owl hunting over the hillside just beyond us. What a privilege. We watched her glide silently over the craggy rocks, disappearing below the horizon before rising again with a mouse in her talons and heading back towards a nearby barn. She repeated this three times while we stood and watched, knowing there were likely hungry chicks waiting for her return. Barn owls really are magnificent birds. Their creamy white feathers stand out beautifully against the green landscape, and that distinctive heart-shaped face makes them instantly recognisable. A few fun facts: 🦉 Barn owls can hunt almost entirely by sound, even in complete darkness. 🦉 Their flight is virtually silent thanks to the unique structure of their feathers. 🦉 A family of barn owls can consume thousands of rodents in a single year. 🦉 Unlike many owl species, barn owls often hunt during daylight hours, particularly around dawn and dusk. 🦉 Their heart-shaped facial disc helps funnel sound towards their ears, making them incredibly effective hunters. I didn't take any photos because I was too busy enjoying the moment. James and I deliberately leave our phones behind on walks whenever we can. It's amazing how much more you enjoy the moment, when you are not trying to take a photo of it. So instead, I've borrowed a few images to share the beauty of these birds.

🌿 A Little Reflection from Me 🌿
The garden is growing fast. The hedgerows are full. The days are long. And yet today, at least here, the sky is grey and the rain is falling. I've been a little quieter in the community over the last few days because I've been trying to get my head around Meta (Facebook) ads. It's felt like I've been going round in circles at times—frustrating, time-consuming, and definitely not what I'd choose to be doing with my days! But it's a necessary part of running a business and reaching more people. It reminded me that growth doesn't always happen in sunshine. Sometimes growth happens quietly. Sometimes it happens underground. Sometimes it happens when we're forced to slow down and focus on the things we'd rather avoid. In my case, that meant going back to basics and following step-by-step processes. Not an easy ask for an ADHD brain that likes to jump ahead! But persevere I have, and success has finally come. While the rain has been falling outside, the flowers have been blooming and the garden has been having a good drink. And while I've been glued to my laptop, determined to find the answers, I've realised I've actually grown in knowledge and understanding too. I've been trying to master this stuff for years, and something has finally clicked. When I've felt overwhelm creeping in, I've reached for my rose petal spray, taken a mindful moment, and brought myself back to the present. I'm pleased to report that I've managed to stay calm and centred... ...and I have successfully refrained from throwing my laptop out of the window. 😆 So today's journal prompt is: ✨ What in my life is growing right now, even if I can't fully see it yet? Perhaps it's confidence.Perhaps it's a new idea.Perhaps it's a relationship, a skill, or a deeper connection to yourself. Nature doesn't rush the process, and neither do we. I'd love to hear your reflections below if you'd like to share. 🌿

Well done Lea! It’s. Such a pain but yes needs to be done! For me I have things growing that have been slower than I hoped… but are indeed growing and I’m trying to remember that each little step is part of a big tapestry.

Welcome 🌿 I'm so glad you're here. This is a space for women who feel the pull to slow down, reconnect with nature, and come home to the natural world and themselves. You'll find rituals, reflections, seasonal living practices, and tools to support your nervous system and inner connection. (Even if you're not sure what brought you here yet — that's okay, you're in the right place.) 👉 Step 3: Dip a toe into the community and share what's brought you here, what you're hoping for, or what you're currently navigating. Take a moment to read what others are sharing and gently connect. 👉 Step 4: 🌙 Ready to go deeper? The Premium Membership is where the real depth lives — monthly coaching calls, seasonal celebration circles, earth-based courses, foraging wisdom, nervous system tools and so much more. It's for women who are ready to fully root in. Curious? Click the Classroom tab to explore everything that's included — or message me directly and I'll help you find what's right for you. 🌿 👉 Introduce yourself below! Tell us your name, where you are in the world, and one thing that called you here 🌙 I'll go first: I'm Lea, based in North Wales, UK, and I created this space because I truly believe we're not meant to do this alone. Nature, community, ritual, earth-based spirituality and seasonal living have been such a big part of my own journey back to myself — and I wanted to create a place where others could experience that too. Can't wait to walk this path with you 🌿 Much love from the hedgerow, Lea 🌳

@Danielle Thompson yes 100% my childhood dog was a huge guide to me when I started learning. She’d always be about. We can connect to plants too 🍀❤️
