@Shayla McClain Super exciting! Does the sprint seem to be helping? I've never done one.

@Shayla McClain Cool, I plan to try it! Do you have rules for it in your group? Like only drafting, no editing, etc? I've actually looked into those word processors that only give you the last two lines of your work so you're forced to keep going forward.

@Shayla McClain Oh wow, that sounds so cool! I've played with the idea of a witch themed novel. I usually write scifi/fantasy blends though. 🙂

Great series name too! Instantly draws me in.
Happy to have you!
Just wanted to give a warm welcome to our newest members! @rick-cobello-5881 @kimberly-stebbins-8102 @chinonyerem-towolawi-2068 @tammy-smith-3914 If you've had a chance to look around, what part of the community do you think will be most useful?

@Tammy Smith Ok, gotcha. When you unpublish your listing on KDP, it makes your book unavailable in the Amazon store, but the listing will still be there in your dashboard. The listing should have options to unpublish and delete. (I'll check this when I get back to my desk.) Don't delete. Just unpublish. Then you would buy your own ISBN and create a completely new listing on Amazon. Contact their support chat to connect the reviews. I did this with a client and had to keep checking back in with them, but they eventually did it. It took a little over a week to get it all sorted. At that point, you are now the publisher of record, so you'll be able to list it on any other self publishing platform as well. If you end up going with a traditional publisher, you'll have to unlist it, and they'll give you their ISBN which will list them as the publisher. At that point, you're in a contract with them and generally can't self publish again.

Sorry, rereading that last paragraph was a little confusing. If you go with a traditional publisher, you'll have to unpublish or remove it from the self publishing platforms you're on and then generally will not be able to self publish again due to contract limitations with whoever you sign with. Let me know if that makes sense!
