It's 5pm for me which is difficult as it is medication time for Mum and she needs food with it. I will watch the catch up though.
Day 9
Personally, I have found AI to be my sounding board. It has become a place where I can have conversations that help me find clarity in my thoughts and make sense of what is going on in my life. I have carried the responsibility of caring for Mum largely on my own since 2018, when she became increasingly dependent. I have no family support nearby, so the responsibility has fallen to me. The loss of my horses last week, after 11½ years, has completely disrupted my routine and taken away a significant part of my personal time and identity. Alongside this, the mental load of appointments, shopping, paperwork, household tasks and day-to-day organisation has often felt overwhelming, especially when much of it has to be managed in a foreign language. My biggest takeaway from this challenge has been discovering that AI is not the diary, planner, or productivity tool I expected it to be. Instead, it has become a source of support, helping me process my thoughts, work through emotions, gain perspective, and find clarity when I feel overwhelmed. Sometimes what I need most is not another to-do list, but a conversation.

Week 2 Win
Been using ChatGpt over the weekend and came up with a focus to move forward with something for myself. Came up with a photo journal between now and October. I have signed up for an 11k Nordic Walk for the local Cancer charity and ordered myself a proper camera. I don't like my phone. I used to take loads of photos of everyth then my camera broke and I stopped. So I have treated myself to a proper camera. I want to learn about editing and improving, so this gives me an indoor focus through the hot summer, but is not pressured learning. Set up Google Docs to create my journal, it starts today. 😀
