Your body is either in tension… or in ease. The switch is your breath. Pause for a moment. Check your stomach—your core. Are you breathing deep, or barely at all? Is your breath full… or shallow? Your breath is the remote control for your mind, body, and spirit. Try this: Inhale for 3, let your stomach expand. Hold for 3. Exhale for 3, gently pulling your stomach in. Hold for 3. Repeat a few rounds. Add movement: Inhale, raise your arms overhead. Hold, stretch upward. Exhale, lower your arms slowly. Across many traditions, breath is used to activate life force (Chi/Ki) and connect the spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical. Simple rule: a longer exhale = a calmer nervous system. Experiment: 3–3–3–3, then 4–4–4–4, then 5–5–5–5… and notice what changes. Change your breath. Change your state. Change your life.
