A & B having a heart to heart, "let's talk about our feelings" kind that can be very healing.. A: Mom was an asshole to me too, not just you B: Oh yeah sure, you were the favorite child. A: Favorite child? Are you f***ing kidding me? Why on Earth would you think that? B: She didn't try to have you committed to a MH Hospital and threaten to kick you out! A: She didn't call the funny farm on me because I never sat out back with a gun shooting at our step-father in the house! And THREATEN to kick me out? You are right, she just kicked me out, twice. Oh, and BTW, it wasn't because I killed their dog as you did, it was because they accidentally found out some news about me, that was devastating to my life, and they said or did NOTHING! Like nothing ever happened, certainly not for a good 10 years, and mostly right under their noses...nope, they just decided to blame me for every little thing that happened to them. B: What happened to you for ten years? A: yeah ya know, nothing really. Just stupid crap...so anyways, the only point that I'm trying to make is that if we communicated more, you would have known that these assumptions were way off base. Secrets, lies and assumptions can ruin peoples lives! The truth may have been hard at first, but so much easier and less stressful. B: So what happened to you for ten years? A: (stumble, stammer & stutter) Uhhh, (oh shit, he is calling me out on my own advice. WTF!?) Well, I was molested for ten years, but nobody really knows about it . ...
