What’s ONE thing slowing you down?
We’re a small room right now… which means we can actually build momentum together 💯 I want to know — what’s the ONE thing slowing you down in federal contracting right now? Be specific. No judgment. Just solutions. Let’s fix it

As of right now, I’m listening to 3 different instructors on top of TikTok videos and getting mixed up information. For example, I was told not to concentrate on Sam.gov right now since I’m new and try to contract locally because my chances are greater. So right now, I’ve updated some naics codes on Sam.gov and some other info and I’m waiting for that to come through. I forgot that Texas has done away with Women’s certification so now I have to go through SBA so I’m waiting for my updated email so everything matches. I’m also waiting on my cage code for my 2nd LLC then sign up with different certifications with that. It’s taking me time because I’ve been teaching myself this process and when I learn something different, I have to update my info but you can betcho ass, I’m coming baby. The last thing that holds me up are these 12 hour night shifts because I sleep all day and work all night and literally fall asleep while I’m updating my info. So there’s my story!

@Charde Crenshaw I wouldn’t say analysis paralysis loop when my business information needs to be updated or structured wrong. In my opinion, bidding, when you have never done it before can be a bit intimidating when you’ve never submitted one before. That’s just like me giving somebody a printout of a ventilator, telling them to read it and place the vent on a patient when it’s their first time if that makes sense knowing it’s more to it. I’ve looked at a bid and it doesn’t seem to be that hard but remember, I’m teaching myself this process which has been taking me longer compared to a person who has received mentoring. Eventually I’ll get it, but it takes time when you’re coming from the ground up.

What does “bid bid bid” mean to you?
It doesn’t mean rushing. It doesn’t mean bidding on everything. And it definitely doesn’t mean being reckless. “Bid bid bid” means: • Building reps, not waiting for perfection • Learning by submitting, not just studying • Letting the government tell you yes or no instead of self-rejecting • Treating this like a business, not a vibe Every bid teaches you something. Every submission sharpens your eye. Every “no response” is still data. Most people quit because they expect a win before they build consistency. But in contracting, confidence comes after repetition. Drop in the comments 👇🏾 What does “bid bid bid” mean to you right now? (No right or wrong answers—this is about growth)
