Hi,
An idiom- go a long way
I learnt the idiom ' go a long way' from Coach Mila's live class--LME Page Pals. It means" help a lot" The idiom “go a long way” means to have a significant impact, contribute greatly, or be very helpful in the long term. It's often used to describe actions, behaviors, or things that produce a lot of positive results over time. Here are some examples of how to use “go a long way” in daily conversation: 1. In the context of help or kindness: - “A simple thank-you can go a long way.”(A small act of gratitude can have a big impact.) 2. In the context of effort: - “Consistency really goes a long way in language learning.”(Being consistent helps you improve a lot over time.) 3. In relationships: - “Being a good listener goes a long way in any relationship.”(Being a good listener has a great positive effect in relationships.) 4. In work or projects: - “Your hard work will go a long way in your career.”(Your effort and dedication will have a big, positive effect in your career.) 5. In everyday advice: - “A little bit of patience goes a long way.”(Being patient can really help in many situations.) ❤️Consistency goes a long way in our English learning journey.Input is important, but output is key — we need to actively use what we learn. Don’t lie—being honest goes a long way in our relationship. 🎉Feel free to share your sentence here.
