The way we live nowadays...
We don’t fully understand ourselves. We don’t really feel the way we used to feel when we were teenagers, especially in our early teenage days… Something was really mesmerizing about those days… It felt like a lighthearted warm kiss on your cheek. We existed full of joy, excitement, energy, anger, overflowing love and happiness… We sorta felt whole and complete at that moment as well. Now I’m an adult, a grown up kid haha. At that time at least we didn’t feel so many things, but we didn’t feel stillness either ,,,, like we do now as if we’re stuck or as if time isn’t moving, like how we feel sometimes now. Now we feel happy, sad, and excited sometimes, but most of the time we are calm, lost, and quiet, which is for the best I guess. We don’t always feel the need to do something or talk to someone. We are just having these great and huge thoughts and self conversations most of the time, and we often forget that right now we are sitting in the classroom attending a lecture cuz we zoned out. It happens, even though we’re still in our 20s, most of us as Gen Zs… That’s not weird maybe, it’s just what it is I guess… Hopefully soon, InshaAllah, we’ll figure it out and we’ll be satisfied with ourselves a little more. Allahuma barik 🤍

I appreciate how you journal your thoughts here its great to read
How should we deal with people?
In life, you will meet many people who, after meeting them, teach you what love is not, what friendship is not, and what humanity is not. Sarcasm? Nope. This is reality. By watching some people’s habits and behavior, we learn exactly how not to behave. It’s ridiculous to even stand with them it feels like someone is choking you, suffocating you from inside. But we were taught to always be nice. We were told to respect people, to be polite, to have manners, to tolerate them, to listen silently no matter what they say. But no, my dear ones. You need to be kind, not nice. And if you are wise enough, you will know the differencet there is a huge difference, a sky and earth difference, between being kind and being nice. When a person is kind, the first person they are kind to is themselves to their mental peace. No one has the right to disrespect you and expect you to stay silent. When you are kind, you learn to respect yourself first. You learn to protect your self respect and dignity. I once watched a street interview. Someone asked an elderly man he was around 60–70 years old: “How should I deal with people?” He replied: “Accept people as they are, but place them where they belong. You are the CEO of your life. Hire, fire, and promote accordingly.” Meaning you decide who gets access to you and who doesn’t. Maintain relationships, be humane, but there is absolutely no obligation to tolerate bad behavior.
