Ceiba Realty Ltd- A trusted firm focusing on both local expertise and guiding international investors. @Soledad Lin If a customer refuses to comply with professional ethics, the priority is to protect your professional license/reputation, and personal wellbeing, followed by mitigating risks. Key actions would include documenting the unethical request, setting firm boundaries, and ultimately terminating the client relationship if they refuse to adhere to ethical standards.

The importance of having a formal agreement is to protect both you as the agent and your client, in the event of any misunderstanding or bad faith. Verbal promise are a high risky, especially in real estate transactions. If it's not in writing, it did not happen.
