I was excited to see that others are seeing the presence of God in everything, including movies. We can and must always keep that spiritual muscle at work. God in scripture used so many different means of communication: *A Donkey (Numbers 22:28): God opened the mouth of Balaam's donkey to rebuke the prophet for his disobedience. *Ravens (1 Kings 17:4-6): God commanded ravens to bring bread and meat to the prophet Elijah during a famine. *A Fish (Jonah 1:17, 2:10): God commanded a great fish to swallow Jonah and later directed it to vomit him onto dry land, serving as both punishment and a means of salvation. Why not a movie, a sign along the road, or a shape one can see in the sky? God is continuously communicating with us. Keeping us focused and truly enjoying life. It is good to know He is always with us. How you taught the comparison in the sermon, almost how most of the book of Luke is written, showing the works of the two genders, male and female, and the king and Lise, etc. The takeaway, really, for me is that you must stay in the Word of GOD to learn of Him and to be aware of His presence. This will only come by having the balance of studying the word and hearing the word and being in your secret place to hear GOD speak Romans 10:17 (faith comes by hearing), 2 Timothy 3:16 (the Word is for training), and Psalm 119:105 (a light unto the path) Imagine if we all took time to step away from traditions and many unwritten beliefs; our lives could be much richer. Often, we're preoccupied with our sins, shortcomings, or doing wrong—thinking it's against the Word of God—which can be selfish and self-centered. But if you truly know that God loves you, has your back, and is the creator and guide of all, life changes. Like in the song “I Look to Him,” do we genuinely look to Him, or are we just trying to see His image or to physically look for Him, thus missing His presence?
God was silent for 400 years
Where is it written in the bible that God was silent for 400 years?

@Dwight Riddick I am studying with them mmm I have found many interesting points. But now, as we are on this journey, it brings me to the scripture 2 Timothy 2:15. I have never believed that scripture is leading us to read only the Bible. I find that hard. I feel the Bible should be used and believed; don't get me wrong. But it is important first to form that relationship with God's word; for that, you need dictionary commentaries, Lexicology, Etymology, Morphology, and, most of all, that private time sitting in silence, listening to God to lead you and show you what is not written and of course what is written as well in HIS word and what HE holds for us individually. And this, I see your answers, Alexander the Great .... love it. But from the time GOD set this earth and before time, He has been doing and moving, and that is seen in the Bible as well as in our everyday walk. Some days, the miracles of GOD's presence in our lives are so clear. But when you have that intimate relationship with HIM, you see HIM in every one of your steps. As we study the Bible, we must remember, if nothing else, because of HIM the wind blows, the seasons change, children are born, and food was supplied; other words, life went on, wars were fought, mmm it may not all be written: but a famine of hearing the words of the Lord." But if that word is tucked in your heart or memory, mmm GOD is still working.... Love the question, and @Dwight Riddick I got have some in-depth studying to do on Daniel .

Hello, My name is Pricilla Howell, but I go by “P.” I have been part of Gethsemane Baptist Church for over 20 years. Someone once told me, ‘You love the word of GOD, and no one can ever doubt that.’ The Bible teaches us that relationships are the strongest bonds we can build, and they are incredibly important. Interestingly, relationships are also one of the hardest aspects of life, both to understand and to maintain. The entire Bible imparts a lot of wisdom on this topic, at least I believe so. Being part of this community, forming relationships as we all journey together and watch GOD shape us—filling our cups (which I now believe will overflow) with His wisdom, riches, and honor—is the main reason I am here.
