Heading to my nephew's birthday party.
He's six but no kids ever go to December birthdays so it's mostly going to be us adults. Finally got an excuse to wear my new bow tie. Also, the gloves are alpaca wool from a local ranch. Super reasonably priced and probably my favorite pair

@Carl Ronny Birkeland Thanks! It's the first one I ever got that isn't a predone tie.

Most of my friends live on the other side of the continent. :(
"Interview" followed by work
I thought I had an interview this morning, turns out it was a call to confirm the manager got my resume and they were going to schedule an interview. Slight miscommunication but whatever. I did not have time to change afterwards and I ran out of clean uniforms for work since I have been doing 8-16 hour every singke day for the past two weeks and our washing machine is broken so I have to run to the laundromat, which I'll admit I've been too exhausted to do after work. Tomorrow is my first free day in weeks. 🤣 You can't really tell but there is also a black yarmulke up top that I can't remember if I ordered in a pack of thirty off Amazon or took from my synagogue's free ones when I first started going.

@Chuck Cranford I used to wear them out but they do look better tucked in. It is currently 93° degrees outside so it's a twinge too warm for a sweater at the moment.
It's 45°F in the morning, 70°F afternoon. Your move? 🌡️
Gents - Fall weather has always been unpredictable: 45°F morning, 70°F afternoon. The safe play? Layers you can peel off. But here's what nobody talks about - you'll look like you're doing a strip show all day, carrying jackets around like your mom packed your bag. The bold move? Pick your temperature and own it. Freeze for style or sweat for comfort. Your choice reveals whether you dress for confidence or convenience. Don't forget to defend to defend your answer in the comments! Vote below: 👇

Man, I WISH we would get 70° weather already. I'm suffering in this 95° heat with 60% humidity.

🍂 September Theme: Fall Style Mastery 🍂
Gentlemen, Fall is here—and this is one of the best seasons for men’s style. You’ve got cooler weather, which means you can finally layer without sweating through your shirt. You’ve got rich textures like tweed, flannel, and corduroy that add depth to your outfits. And you’ve got boots—arguably the most masculine footwear a man can own. This month we’re focusing on one thing: mastering Fall style. Here’s where I want you to dial in: 1. Layering without bulk – Jackets, sweaters, shirts. Done right, you look sharp. Done wrong, you look sloppy. 2. The right pair of boots – Not sneakers, not loafers. Boots. They make a statement. 3. Seasonal colors & fabrics – Earth tones, heavier weaves, and clothes that look like they belong in Fall—not Summer leftovers. 4. Smart upgrades – A scarf, a better jacket, maybe just swapping out those worn-out shoes. Small changes, big impact. 👉 Your action: Share one Fall upgrade you’re making this month. It can be a piece of clothing, a style habit, or even just committing to putting more effort into your look. This theme is going to guide our discussions, tips, and challenges all September long. Let’s make sure when October rolls in, you’re not just “dressed for the weather”—you’re leading with style.

I don't know about layers *without* sweating quite yet, but when ai layer I can more easily hide the sweat!
