Feedback on Meta Ads
SEO agency owner, trying to get HVAC clients from Australia so currently running meta ads and it's been about 7-8 days my daily spend is A$75 with all campaigns set to ABO with each adset from each campaign spending A$15 yet my KPIs don't look so good (leads campaign with conversion goal as booked call and traffic to website only not lead forms, reason simple it brought a lot of tire kickers and bots in the past): TOFU Campaign (3 adsets, each adset with only 1 ad, founder led specifically calling out HVAC owners in AU and instead of selling first I answer their pain points like X reasons why are you not ranking for ducted installs in google; broad targeting - Age 25-50, Male, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne): Amount spent = A$280 Impressions = 5692 Reach = 3134 Views = 5945 Clicks = 160 CTR = 2.81% CPC = A$1.75 Call booked = 1 (from a cleaning company who didn't show up despite automated SMS and email follow-ups) MOFU Campaign (only 1 adset with 1 ad with again clear callout; re-targeting only to landing page visitors and TOFU ad viewers who have watched at least 10secs and 25% of the ad videos): Amount spent = A$100 Impressions = 964 Reach = 193 Views = 929 Clicks = 26 CTR = 2.7% CPC = A$3.87 Call booked = 0 BOFU Campaign (only 1 adset with 1 ad with again clear callout; re-targeting only to landing page visitors and MOFU ad viewers who have watched 50% of the ad videos): Amount spent = A$45.68 Impressions = 319 Reach = 20 Views = 288 Clicks = 1 CTR = 0.31% CPC = A$45.68 Call booked = 0 Landing page again very simple and mobile optimized with 1 CTA to book a call, clear callouts in the headings who it is for and who it isn't for, VSL in the hero section itself, social proof and video testimonials of other clients we've worked with. [Landing page Link] Am I on the right track or am I missing something?

@John Romaine Okay if speed and tonality is the issue then it can def be sorted out within the app. Not that I'm against hiring fiverr freelancers, I'll see and contact a few, but it might take a few days for them to deliver the files. Just curious to know does it look fake or AI in first glance? HeyGen did have default American accent which sounds very natural but I changed it to Australian.

@John Romaine Okay I'll try editing my VSL and adding that check box on my calendar But I didn't quite follow you when you said client side and server side tracking. I have GA4 & Meta Pixel already tracking all the pages, what else am I missing in terms of tracking? Also John, was going over 'How to Prevent No-Shows for Sales Calls' class replay and you mentioned it's best avoid Mondays and Fridays to conduct the discovery calls, is it still relevant? And would you still recommend splitting the call into 2 where 1st call I understand their pain points and in second call I do short presentation and close the deal or do all in 1 call?
Tools that helped me
Hey guys here are few tools that helped me build my funnel: 1. KillerPlayer it's an alternative tool to Wistia. Currently available for a lifetime deal at just $69 on AppSumo (they offer SaaS at one-time fee for lifetime subscription) I'm not sure how long this will be available because they sell limited coupons for lifetime deals. 2. YouForms an alternative to TypeForm. Functions exactly like TypeForm but incredibly cheap if you go with monthly or yearly plan. 3. WordPress this is obvious, I mean you don't really need GHL to build landing pages, unless you have an A2P registered number and going to use it's AI voice caller to call back your leads in the first 5 mins of them contacting you. 4. Hostinger to host your landing pages and website. Sure there are a bunch out there like SiteGround, DigitalOcean, BlueHost and numerous other companies, I found hostinger to incredibly cheap and VFM I'll try updating this thread every now and then. All the tools that I've mentioned here are the ones I've personally used it and it's helping me. Also John, you can let me know if embedding my referral links goes against your community guidelines.

@John Romaine Hmm makes sense. "When you buy an iPhone Tim Cook doesnt sell it to you. You're not responsible for everything." πŸ˜‚ Can you possibly suggest me how can I find and hire closers? Platforms / countries / price range anything would help. Have heard Philippines are great but again my assumptions around things are not helping me atp πŸ˜‚ so I'm all ears πŸ™‚ And if not AUD $5000, what would be a reasonable range according to you? I know you go in depth in your Module 2 lectures to keep the LTGV:CAC ratio above 6:1 and that's also how I came to A$5000 considering CAC A$1500 ($300 per booked call and 20% close rate) with 3 months of campaign run and around 50% profit margins and using those profits to pump back in scaling the agency, not enjoying the profits. Also just curious to know why image ads over video ads. Sir you are the expert no doubt, not trying to question your advice, just wanting to understand things in detail because prior to asking feedbacks here I was doing research by myself and what I found was video ads generally help you warm the leads better because the content tries qualifying and disqualifying the prospects and gets your ads shown to people most likely to take action rather than the ones who sees the image ads then clicks the button to check out LP and drop off.

@John Romaine Updated the VSL and Thank you page. Doesn't have Wistia branding or link, female, Australian accent. Also not only I have made 6 different image ads, but also 6 video ads with the same person in VSL. Please let me know if I should share the links here or in the 'Feedback on Meta ads' thread.
