Hi everyone, I’m Prem Currently going through a phase of high work stress & pressure and an unhealthy routine loop (work → fatigue → doom scrolling → poor sleep). I’ve joined to seek guidance on building discipline, improving mental clarity and breaking this cycle. Looking forward to learning from all of you.

What’s been holding me back lately isn’t time, it’s consistency and environment. I’ve drifted away from things that keep me energised like sports and meeting new people, and it has affected my routine and focus.
Overthinking and over analysing separates the body from the mind - James Maynard keenan
These are the lyrics of a song from a famous band called tool. Lets break this down and see what exactly we can evoke from this beautiful statement. When we are present, we are within us we are here. I am here . The moment we start to think, we use our intellectual ability to calculate and see what's the next step. Until this stage we are here, still present. The mind is still in our control. The moment we lose control of the mind and now the mind has become the master, we have entered the world of overthinking. Now you have lost touch with yourself and you are not there. Your awarensss has left the body and has separated from the mind. You are now in the world future or past. Scenarios that can only exist in your mind. This changes our present moment. Chemicals from the future scenarios start pumping into our system. Sometimes they can work in our favour by brining excitement but most times its just worry and negative experiences. So whenever you are in a state of disconnection with the body and the mind, come back to your breathe. Thats where the body and the mind come together. And instantly you will notice that the overthinking has subsided and you are back in control. And let that be a practice that you develop starting today. Keep on practicing till the end of the month and then the whole year and youll see eventually you will become someone who is present no matter what happens and always connected with your body and the mind. Hola Vijay! como estas? I tend to spiral into long chain of thoughts, then start analysing and playing our scenarios in my head. I feel like im stuck, and then end up rationalising reasons why im stuck. Make any sense?
