Following up on the breathing exercise from Monday. When you tried it this week, did you notice a moment where your body let go, even slightly? Maybe the shoulders dropped, or the breath went a little deeper than usual. Most of us hold tension somewhere specific. Jaw. Chest. Shoulders. Gut. Just naming the place brings its own kind of relief. Where do you hold it? ➡️One word in the comments is plenty. And if nothing softened yet, that is okay too. But if your nervous system is stuck in survival mode, none of that lands. The thinking brain goes offline. Willpower runs out. And we wonder what is wrong with us. Nothing is wrong with you. Your body is doing exactly what it learned to do. The shift starts when we stop fighting the body and start working with it. And it starts with one simple thing. 🌟Awareness🌟 Not fixing. Not forcing. To try and think that I have it all figured out. I can find my way out in making things get better through hustling and over believing myself yet when I end up in failure I then blame other people and not myself for my failures.
