The one thing that ruins almost every holiday?
We spend months planning every detail, squeezing as much as possible into a few days and putting pressure on ourselves to have the "ideal" break. Ironically, that's often what stops us from truly enjoying it. There's a different way to think about holidays, and it completely changed how I approach mine. I share it in this short video. Watch it here.

Align Your Personal Vision with Your Business Strategy
It's easy to spend every day chasing targets, solving problems and ticking off your to-do list. Before you know it, another quarter has gone by. That's why we've created a Personal Goals Template. It's not about setting more goals. It's about making sure your personal ambitions and your business vision are pulling in the same direction. Take 15-20 minutes to work through it honestly. Think about where you want to be, what success looks like for you and whether your current priorities are helping you get there. A successful business should support the life you want to build, not compete with it. 📄 Download the template and complete it before your next planning session. Once you've finished, we'd love to hear from you. What's one personal goal you're focusing on over the next 12 months? Share it in the comments, we'd love to cheer you on.

Your Q3 CEO Checklist: 7 Questions to Ask Before You Build Another Plan
Before your Q3 planning session, work through these seven checkpoints: 1. What should we stop doing? Growth rarely comes from doing more. It often comes from eliminating distractions that consume time without creating value. 2. Where is momentum already building? Double down on what's working instead of spreading resources across too many initiatives. 3. What is the one decision we've been avoiding? The conversations or decisions you've delayed are often the ones limiting growth. 4. If we had to grow with the same team, what would need to change? Don't default to hiring. Look for process improvements, clearer priorities and better delegation first. 5. Which KPI actually predicts success? Vanity metrics are comforting. Focus on the leading indicator that tells you whether you're on track before the quarter ends. 6. Is every leader solving the same business priority? Misalignment is expensive. If each department has a different interpretation of success, execution will suffer. 7. Have I protected time to think? Your calendar reflects your priorities. If every hour is spent reacting, there's no space for strategic leadership. Which question challenged your thinking the most?

How to Hold Your Team Accountable Without Micromanaging
Accountability should create ownership, not dependency. Yet many business owners fall into the same trap. They want standards, so they start chasing updates, checking every detail, and stepping into every issue. That is not accountability. That is micromanagement wearing a different outfit. Real accountability looks different. It comes from three things: 1. Clear expectations If people do not know what success looks like, they cannot own it. 2. Measurable outcomes Focus on results, deadlines, and standards, not constant activity. 3. Consistent follow-through Regular check-ins matter. Rescue missions do not. A strong team should not need you in every conversation, decision, or task. If you are involved in everything, the system is broken, not the people. What is one area of your business where you need more accountability right now? 👇
