i should probably explain my thought process behind this. - i first understood that the point we were given was for the second function (ill call it g(x)) - I then set up the equation for g(x) as g(x)=(-a^x +b)-15 - The point we were given was (0, -99/7) and I understood that if I put that into the equation I would only be left with one variable since putting -a^0 would make it -1 - after adding that point in i got the equation -99/7=(-1+b)-15 - since i dont want to do the math, i made it a regression by changing the equal sign to a ~ - and finally to find "a" i put brackets around both sides of the ~ sign and added ",ab" to the side with -99/7 and 65/7 to the other side as a way to tell desmos the command - and thats when desmos gave me a=5 I hope that helps!! sorry i'm not really good at explaining things if you have any more questions you can always dm me!!

you def have a chance because you just have some knowledge gaps to fill and once to target those your score will improve drastically
Spacing out
Hey yall, I'm taking December SAT and I've been spamming the English modules on the practice tests. I've noticed that when I get to the second module like reading passages I tend to space out and like my brain is fried. Any tips for staying invested and locking in. Thanks!

https://www.skool.com/gamifysat/something-weird-that-has-been-helping-me-with-reading?p=6f506600 tldr: its about how my brain randomly started reading the text in weird accents and it helped me visualize things better and kept me more engaged with the text and in turn raised my accuracy
Challenge Question
Hey Guys, I am back after a long time just relaxing and trying to find a workable strategy to attack the Reading and Writing Section with. But I got a challenging math question for you guys, it will be rated hard by the College Board, because they like to use the ways to do a math question by hand, but I assume that this question is where Desmos becomes a game changer, because you can solve it in seconds by Desmos. Here it is: Line j is defined by (2,26) and (7,78). The equation of this line is Ax+28y=C. Find the value of A+C. Enter your answer as a comment. I want to see how many of you guys get this answer using Desmos, and how many know how to do it by hand, i will reveal the answer by tomorrow, but I can give a hint: the answer should be negative.
