C. (Non calculator) Looking at the table, Angel Cruz has a little bit more than 50% of the 803 votes. Now looking at the 6,424 votes (rounded to 6400 for simplicity) you can divide that by 2 and get 3200 (64/2 = 32 : 32 * 100 = 3200) which is roughly half. The only answer that is slightly above that is C being 3864 (Calculator) Another option is to find the percentage of votes Angle has based off of the data in the table. Take the # of votes he got and divide it by the total # of vote. This gives us 483/803 = .6015 (rounded). So he has roughly 60.15% of the total votes. Now if we find 60.15% of the new total # of voters (6,424) we can find how many votes he would get. 6,424 * .6015 = 3864 (rounded). This leaves us with answer C
