Moving to an area that is just about to go up in value is one of the most cost-effective moves you can make in home-buying. Here are early indications an area is about to boom... 1. New transport links being created. E.g. London Elizabeth line 2. Regeneration projects. Government funding into an area, starts to look cleaner! 3. Education improvements, schools moving up Ofsted rating, academies opening 4. Large companies relocating offices, especially tech hubs 5. Independent cafes, artisan bakeries, boutique gyms opening 6. House prices rising in nearby area, ripple effect incoming
