The New Year for New Skin (Beginner's Carnivore)
I notice a lot of people joining this group and I want to say thank you joining my Skool group. The purpose of this group is to have a group of people who help each other achieve clear skin and clarity with their mind and body. This is crucial to healing all aspect of your life and not just your skin. I want to start off with my main focus has been focus on carnivore and getting people to lose weight and clear their skin. Carnivore is important because it is an elimination diet and will help clear out any underlying issue that allow psoriasis to manifest. Psoriasis always have a friend or a comorbidities that goes hand in hand. For me, psoriasis was coupled with pre diabetes and poor diet of instant ramen and high carbohydrate diets. You will see results within weeks of your body healing itself and losing tons of weight you never knew you had. Let start the year strong and welcome to my brigade. Here is what you should do with the start of this year. Steps I recommend to start carnivore 1. Transitions by cutting 20% of your carbs intake for week 1 and another 20% for week 2. Carbs = Sugar, Plants, and other starches 2. During the first 2 weeks increase your fat intake of only butter, ghee, or tallow. Avoid seed oils like canola, vegetable, palm, corn, and peanut oils. Including olive oil, coconut, and avocado oils. 3. During the first 2 weeks increase your meat intake and eat as much as you like typically about 1 g of protein per target weight in LBs. For example, I weigh about 180 lbs and I eat about 180 grams of protein which is about 1.5 lbs of beef. You should have about half a stick of butter to 1 stick of butter depending on how you feel and we can trouble shoot that. 4. On your 3rd and 4th week, you should be fully off of carbs depending how you feel. By the 4th week you should be on full carnivore of eating beef and fats. 5. Now you are on your way to fully healing and you will notice major changes in appetite, weight loss, and cravings may happen. There can be cases where you can get Keto flu or symptoms of feeling sick and not well which means you need more electrolytes or fats to help you feel better. This is your body trying to transition from burning sugar to burning ketones (fats).
