£500 a month to change everything?
“You can’t afford to invest £500 a month in the UK right now.” I hear this all the time. And I’m going to say something unpopular: Most people don’t have an income problem. They have a priority problem. Yes, the UK is expensive. Energy bills are a joke. Food costs are up. Rent and mortgages are painful. Taxes feel endless. I get it. But here’s the uncomfortable truth: If investing matters enough to you… You find a way. You cut back. You earn more. You stop financing things you don’t need. You stop upgrading your life every time your income goes up. Most people say they want financial freedom… But their spending says otherwise. £500 a month invested isn’t “impossible.” It’s a decision… I wasn’t born understanding money. I had a difficult relationship with it for years. Right up until I was 35 - in 2018. What changed everything was understanding this… Nobody is coming to save you. Not the government. Not your employer. Not your pension. You either build wealth intentionally… Or spend decades hoping things somehow improve. Here’s the crazy part: £500 a month invested consistently could completely change your future. Not overnight. Not next year. But over 10–20 years? That’s where lives change. The real question is: What are you sacrificing today that your future self will regret? Agree or disagree? @Peter Duffy Love this mate. Please forward it to my Mrs as she won’t listen to me.
Crypto pain 🤬
How’s everyone feeling about crypto… To be honest I thought liquidity would have had a positive impact on the market by now but clearly not… I’m doing my best to stay neutral and to try and remain positive… I’m not sure what we have in store for us for the rest of 2026 - I don’t think many people do. I remain bullish long term but short term F*** knows… It wouldn’t suprise me if the clarity act gets passed, the Iran conflict gets resolved and the market picks up… but it wouldn’t suprise me if it chops for many more months to come. What you thinking?

@Peter Duffy I’ve been following a couple of lads on YouTube who both predicted this would happen so I’m pretty happy I’ve held off as I’ve got a few pennies I wanted to dump into crypto. As you say mate, with crypto you have got to massively zoom out or it will eat you alive! Long term bullish, short term not so much.

@Peter Duffy I will be up for this boys 📞
Your 1st £100k…
I just published a new video breaking down the exact roadmap I’d follow to build my first £100K in the UK — step by step. But I want to ask you something… What do YOU think is the hardest part about getting to your first £100K? Is it: 💷 Earning more money? 📉 Knowing where to invest? 🧠 The mindset and staying consistent? 🏠 Property vs stocks vs crypto confusion? ⏳ Feeling like it takes too long? For me, the biggest shift was realising that building wealth isn’t about getting rich quickly — it’s about having a system and sticking to it. 👇 Drop your biggest challenge in the comments and I’ll reply with my experience to help you move forward. Let’s help each other to invest and hit our goals 🙌📈

@Peter Duffy Possibly knowing where the best places to invest for me. I saved half this amount up and went all in on crypto. I’m now beginning to understand it’s not a great idea to put all your eggs into one basket. Back to the drawing board and start again while in the background play the long game with crypto and watch my funds increase over the years.
Huge for crypto 🔥
Big Crypto Regulation Update 🇺🇸 The U.S. Senate Banking Committee has officially advanced the Clarity Act in a bipartisan vote (15–9). So, what does this mean? 👇 ✅ It’s another major step toward clear crypto rules in the U.S. ✅ More regulatory clarity could bring bigger institutional investment into crypto ✅ It may reduce uncertainty that has held the market back for years ✅ Long term, this could be bullish for the strongest crypto projects BUT… this is not law yet. The bill still needs: ➡️ A full Senate vote ➡️ Support to overcome a filibuster (60 votes likely needed) ➡️ Agreement with the House version before it reaches the President My take: Momentum for crypto regulation is clearly building. This doesn’t mean instant price pumps, but clearer rules could help legitimize the industry and attract more money over time. We’re moving from the “Wild West” phase of crypto toward a more mature market. What do you think — bullish for crypto or too much regulation?

@Peter Duffy @Matthew Thompson Can’t beat a bit of positive crypto news! I’ve got a few pennies set to one side but torn between sticking them into bitcoin or putting into a stocks and shares ISA. What would you lads do giving this moment in time. I do feel like crypto could have a few more little crashes up until October ish time but when it starts heating I don’t want to be regretting not investing more.

@Peter Duffy cheers for that mate 👍
For any crypto investors
Just started using Claude and already very impressed... See attached for PIC and see below... Current status: Crypto is in early recovery, not a confirmed bull run. Bitcoin posted its best April since 2020 but still hasn't cleanly broken $85K–$100K resistance. Watch these triggers for a green light: 1. BTC closes above $85K on strong volume for 2+ days 2. Fear & Greed crosses into Greed territory (60+) 3. The May FOMC / CLARITY Act roundtable produces positive news Estimated window: May–June 2026 if current momentum holds. Starting now (late April) is not unreasonable — you're buying into early recovery — but full uptrend confirmation is likely still 2–6 weeks away. I'll be using Claude and Trading view to confirm an UPTREND. And I'll let you know what it tells me over the next few weeks... Has anyone else been using AI for investing or anything else?

@Peter Duffy What’s Claude Pete? Could do with keeping an eye on something as simple as this. I used ChatGPT & Grok for price predictions but sometimes it’s impossible to say what’s going to happen.
