Lately I’ve deeply shifted my focus back to what I do best: software, design, GTM, and positioning. My time in Y-Combinator taught me how to build software that enters the fiber of the world, it’s why so many companies that go through it pass the hundred year vision: Dropbox, DoorDash, Airbnb, Coinbase, Stripe; the list goes on and it tells a story. Solve real problems & the money will follow. It’s wild to think back to building my first multi- million dollar startup, Eze, and how the tech that took us years to build could now technically be done in months. I’m building more, and faster than I ever have before. The intersection between software and Skool is going to be something to pay close attention too in the coming years. We’re living in days where you can bring almost anything to life with the tools around us. Have you been working on anything interesting outside of Skool? YouTube? A software product? I’m curious! Skool is the perfect platform where almost anything you’re working on outside of it can be woven into your community. What have you all been up to?

When we launched buildroom.ai last year little did we know our first few clients would be unicorns. @Duncan Rogoff's on vacation for the next few weeks so I'm running point on this one. Phase one: static ads at volume. Phase two: automated video ads. Phase three: An org-wide rollout. 🌋 They found Duncan through a YouTube video. Not LinkedIn. Not cold outreach. Content. The right people find you when your positioning is clear. It's also a reminder to me to expand far and wide. No matter what skill you have, no matter what you teach, someone somewhere in the world needs it. Build in public. Ship content. Let the systems work. Wishing everyone a great day!
