✨12 Songs of Christmas Joy Quest✨ WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS - Tutorial + sheet + song
Hi Tribers!!! It's been a real busy (good busy, you will see!) day!!! Had an amazing inner child workshop in @Chanie Twersky's community and also @Sam Gill was there; had a community culture strategy sesh and developed a roadmap of success for someone and also helped someone else get the star - within a few hours, we hit 106 k activities!!! You probably will hear about it soon on the news... Skool News that is... BUT, you heard it here first!!!!! Anyways, sharing our next quest from 12 Days of Christmas series - WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS song!!!! We have only a few songs left with a few days also... The first video is the tutorial and it is an easier version. The second video is the exact same version as the sheet music I am sharing with you, played by one of my students - Sneha :) I am down to do my own medley of all of them for you - live, unpracticed, unscripted, flow state all the way baby!!! As a reminder: - you can play it on any instrument, style, genre, etc - if you can't read yet, use the tutorial included and just follow along this short 1 min video and place your fingers as I am showing you :) - you can sing it - you can improvise over the given melody - you can add chords, arpeggios, progressions, jazzy decorations, anything - you can also simply read it straight from the sheet music included below What will you do with this? I can't wait to see or hear!!! Let me know if you need help! I might play it on the piano while I am DJing for you, do you want that? P.S. I am super behind with notifications.. Will plough through as soon as I am done with this yoga class that is about to star! Getting my zen on :)

@Rositsa Aleksandrova And I just noticed she was doing it without sheet music or a lead sheet! Double awesome!

@Rositsa Aleksandrova Yes, I have maybe a half dozen songs I don't need a lead sheet anymore.
😂
I know it's not Friday yet nor anymore... but I just saw this and had to share...

Please watch this video describing our vibe! 1. Comment on this post - introduce yourself - where are you from and where are you in your music journey? Are you a complete beginner or had some lessons or you are a concert pianist or an electronic producer that plays a few chord progressions? What’s your favorite type to play/listen (classical, jazz, your own compositions)? Do you even play or just here to listen? Of so - we have a special section called “Listening Sessions” - where you can listen to different performances and members playing for us! What’s your favorite fruit? 2. Head over to our classroom (2nd tab) and look through our (ever evolving) categories of courses and post video or questions in the feed for feedback and support :) P.S. @Andrew Chen Welcome to the Tribe!
"Oh Holy Night" attempt.
Well, recording still gives me issues, but I think I'm starting to cure the heebie-jeebies. With this song I had times of brilliance and times of Toys For Brains. But looking ahead on the lead sheet to the next chord and measure while still playing the one before is starting to eliminate hesitations and mistakes, and feels so much more comfortable, although it's a bit hard to tell with this recording. Yes, I'm looking at my hands, but only briefly, on the first beat only, to make sure I hit the right note (of left-hand chord), and I'm liking it.
