Orange for Grant
As promised to @Grant Collings , and inspired also by @Jeffrey Cote and @Ryan Appel ’s use of colour, I broke out my orange tie today. Of course, I paired it with browns. But I think it works! Jacket: Rancco OCBD: Land’s End Tie: Pronto Uomo Trousers: Spier & MacKay

ΟΚ, Ι have to comment on that: I see you are wearing the 17 SDG pin? Are you involved? If so, how exactly? I am a huge supporter of the SDGs.

Nothing special: Used my capsule wardrobe pieces. This is the kind of budget items I like to wear when going to work: Jacket: M&S from a thrift store Trousers: GANT Chinese Shirt: Solid navy blue with a slight pattern. Old but durable Shoes: Nak classics from the outlet store What do you think of this "uniform"? Do I look confident and in charge? What is the first upgrade you would do?

Dapper Group of Friends
It can be difficult to grow and evolve in the way you dress when you are not surrounded by like-minded people or friends. Do you have friends you see on a regular basis that share the same desire to dress with class as you do? Where would you go to find like-minded friends like that?

Here's what my approach would be: Take a walk 🚶‍♂️ or go to a place you hang out with your "community". Find someone whose outfit you like and make a compliment. That could start a conversation and you could make a new friend. Even if it doesn't stick, you made a gentle gesture.
Badly dressed men in restaurants
A few days ago I had a little debate with my girlfriend about how other people dress. We both think that everyone should dress as they want. But we were out eating in a nice restaurant. Nothing too fancy, but not a cheap place also. And there were other men sitting with their girlfriends/wifes and while the women were all dressed up, many guys wore hoodies, t-shirts and running shoes. Later I said to my gf, that while I think that everybody should wear what they like, it is still a sign of respect to dress accordingly. There was no official dresscode in that restaurant. But for me it's just an unwritten rule to dress up when going out. I actually see that as a sign of respect. It shows that I care and that I gave thought about my appearance. I wouldn't show up to a funeral or a wedding just in a t-shirt and I think this rule does apply on many occasions. My gf didn't agree and said, I shouldn't judge the other men in that restaurant, because maybe they have a reason to just wear that hoodie. Maybe they have some issue and only feel comfortable wearing this piece. What are your thoughts on this? And this leads me to another question: In general, do you like judge people's style (In a positive and a negative way)? Since starting my style journey, I acutally pay attention to what other men are wearing. I see a lot of badly dressed guys, but when I see someone with a great outfit, I also recognize that and maybe take some inspiration.

I understand your comment and I am pretty sure you want everyone to dress better and level up themselves. Try doing this with respect. I now try to expel toxic and negative thought. Instead of focusing on men (or women) whose look I do not like, I try to focus on them I actually like and want to look alike.
