Skool Notifications Got An Update!
One of the great things about Skool is that Sam Ovens listens when people ask questions or make feature requests inside the Skoolers community. Some questions that came up were: How do I get notified when someone posts in my community? How do I get a notification when a new member requests to join? These were common questions because most owners want to respond quickly and keep engagement moving. Until now there was no way to turn those alerts on. Skool listened and built the solution. You now have them in your notification controls. They are turned off by default. If you want alerts, you can turn them on manually. Here is how to update your notification settings: Click on your profile photo. - Desktop will show you the user menu drop down - Mobile you will have to click the 3 dots in the top right to get to the user menu drop down On the user menu drop down, click Settings. Then click on Notifications. - Desktop it will have tabs on the side and you see "Notifications" there - Mobile you will need to slide it to see "Notifications" Then expand the notification settings for the community you want to change. Click either On or Off for what you want to be notified on. You can turn on notifications for: • Admin announcements • Event reminder email • New customer email • Membership requests • Reported content • New Post This puts you in control of what you stay updated on. Faster approvals. Better responsiveness. A smoother community experience for everyone. Which notification are you turning on first now that the option is finally here?

What’s Been Your Best Performing Post?
I’m nosey today 👀 and this is your chance to brag a little. 💯 What post in your community got the most engagement, comments, or started real conversations? Drop it below so we can all see what worked and maybe spark some ideas for our own groups. You never know what idea might inspire the next great post for someone else.

Good reminder to focus more on what’s working best, @Jenna Ostrye 👌 We started the community with some kind of a goal - to reach 300 founding members in 90 days. Did this in 36 and the celebrating post was the most popular so far (not counting introducing ourselves as that one is always alive)
How long have you been on Skool?
Curious to see who’s been here the longest. 👀 How long have you been on Skool, and what’s one change or feature release that you thought was a great move? There’s been a lot of updates over time, so it’ll be fun to see which ones stood out most to each of you.

Nice reminder, @Jenna Ostrye It’s 2 months and 1 week :) As its each day - seems like much more than 2+ months 🤭
Wise Words From Sam Ovens
I saw a comment from Sam this morning and I thought I'd share it all with you. For me, I believe this is something a lot of people face, especially when building their business/community.

@Jenna Ostrye, exactly 👌 Most are just in imagination but they makes thinker seems like he is “working” on solving. That explains why some people don’t have time and… mostly are late 🤭
When Was Your Last Audit?
Doing the screen time challenge with Matthew’s community made me realize how much time I was spending without noticing. That awareness carried over into other areas of life. Then I watched a Hormozi video where he explained how outsourcing simple things like meals, laundry, and house cleaning can give you back entire weeks each year. I already have someone who comes to clean the house, has also been helping organize & downsize for mental clarity (I feel like your environment is a big deal) and I’ve been working with someone on a meal prep system for us. It got me thinking… what else could use an audit? I started with subscriptions. In one quick pass I canceled 6 of them that seemed "little" but they added up and were costing me $85.67 a month. Stuff I wasn't using or they weren't working like they should. That’s over $1,000 a year saved. Part of that savings is because I also went to cancel Audible, and of course they suckered me into staying with 50% off credits for three months. They always get me with that one. (Go see if they offer you a discount, if you want to keep them and get it for less.) Next, I’ve been looking at my wardrobe. The idea is to make it no-thinking, grab-and-go.. similar to Hormozi’s approach, but with enough variety so my kid doesn’t see me as “Mom always wears the same thing, boring.” These small audits add up. And the same applies to our communities... We can step back and ask: What are people really using? What do they find helpful? What feels like clutter? What do they want more of and what less of? It’s amazing what you uncover when you pause to run an audit. 👇 When was the last time you did one in your life or your community? What did you cut, adjust, or keep?

@Jenna Ostrye, watch that video and discussed with some other guys- there are always few ways where it is possible to make some changes that will help move forward 👌 Thanks for reminding this, Jenna 🙌
