After OpenAI's "Red Alert" last week, rumors were they already had new models nearly ready to go to try to take back the top spot in AI. A couple days late, people were expecting Tuesday, but today OpenAI started rolling out GPT 5.2 Auto, Instant, Thinking, and Pro versions. I can't imagine it's a huge upgrade from 5.1 but it may be enough to push them closer to the top of the leaderboards again. ChatGPT-5.1 Pro launched and it's slow but smart, solving problems that people thought couldn't be solved by AI. ChatGPT-5.1-Codex-Max also launched for the vibe coders. It supposed to be able to focus on a single task for up to 24 hours working on it's own in the cloud. Gemini 3.0 Pro also went live this week, pumping insane landing pages and simple video games in a single prompt. Finally got an example of working with WhatsApp. It's a bit of a pain to setup but this tutorial includes the high-level steps for setting up the connection. You need to create your app at https://developers.facebook.com/ Once you have your app setup, then you need to Set Up WhatsApp so that you can generate an Access Token and get your Test Phone Number, and eventually assign your real phone number. With that setup, you should have everything you need to create both WhatsApp Triggers in n8n and send messages to WhatsApp with n8n. Let me know if you have any questions!

I've struggled with this many times now but this one seemed to work. n8n does not play well with multiple downloaded files at the same time, it tends to only want to you one, and only use it right after it's been downloaded. But I finally ran into a script that seemed to work for using multiple downloaded files at the same time. I needed to attach multiple documents to an email, and this code node managed to set it up before the Gmail node and after the download: let binaries = {}, binary_keys = []; for (const [index, inputItem] of Object.entries($input.all())) { binaries[`data_${index}`] = inputItem.binary.data; binary_keys.push(`data_${index}`); } return [{ json: { binary_keys: binary_keys.join(',') }, binary: binaries }]; Running that in a code node after the download allows for a drag and drop of the files that need to be attached in an email.
