Sunrise Sand Dune Set filled with my music
Wassup yall, I wanted to share a special set filled with my music curated to bring back that golden era/nostalgic feeling. It's got most of my own originals, remixes, edits, and some members of quiet hours too. I'm really proud of putting this together with @Eric Bregman and friends so wanted to share it with yall too!

Multiple Thoughts
Hey guys! I would love your thoughts, just a general convo/thoughts on a couple topics. 1. What is your thoughts on newer DJs/Producers releasing a remix of a track that is not yet out if they get their hands on the track early through whatever resources? Basically releasing a remix of an unreleased song before it’s out. 2. What is your thoughts on buying followers, likes, views, etc? 3. DJs having ghost producers, and claiming they make all their own stuff?

Jake, great questions. I’ll answer 2) From my perspective, both as a marketing graduate and a promoter with two event brands, buying engagement is a self-inflicted wound. When I’m booking talent, I look for genuine influence. It’s a major red flag to see an artist with 50k followers but only 50 likes and a handful of comments. I’d much rather book a smaller artist with a loyal, active community than someone with inflated numbers and zero engagement. In this industry, real connection carries more weight than fake vanity metrics.
Weekly/Feb Goal
My goal in Feb (starting today) is to create 1 demo a week. Not finishing them completely front to back but four demos that in March I can tweak each one heavily so I show up to MMW ‘more’ prepared. Some pretty unreal demo drop/networking opportunities! COCAINE INSIDE MY BLUNTS (MARC SHOALS REMIX) 💪 OUT FRIDAY!! 💪

Marc, super solid goal. 1 demo a week is something ive recently been working on & it’s definitely helped so much regarding my progress as a music producer. i feel like regarding goals, its really easy to set the bar too high & end up setting yourself back because of it — a pill that was super hard to take for me personally. good luck with that brotha! excited to see what comes from it :) - phero
