Introduction
Hello everyone, my names Peter. Just wanted to share little bit about me and hope I can contribute and add value to the group. Firstly I think a community focused on financial is absolutely critical. Thankfully growing up my Dad taught me a lot but I feel as a society (USA) Finance was not taught at all in the Education system, at least when I was going through it and I'm sure it's still not. I love stock investing and I do it as a hobby. To piggyback off what someone said earlier about why does money seem to go when bills and such are coming. For me what has really helped is I pay me first..... Meaning every Friday I have X amount taken out of my checking and goes into my Brokerage account. (Basically an account to buy stocks) Sometimes I just leave it in there in case of emergency or what have you but I try to buy some stocks every week or two for sure. I've been doing this pay me first strategy for almost a year and I now have a nice Portfolio of stocks that worst case...I can sell and use it as an emergency fund. Anyway long intro nice being here hope to get to meet the others in the group

@Daniel Cavaretta I'm very Peter Lynch in style. My main focus is small cap stocks little to no debt with solid/growing revenues. Bonus points for high insider ownership
💸 Why Does Money Seem to Go Faster Than It Comes In?
Hey everyone! Daniel here. One thing I’ve noticed (and I bet many of you have too) is how money seems to leave our hands quicker than it arrives. 👉 Paycheck comes in, bills, subscriptions, “just one Amazon order,” eating out here and there and before you know it, it feels like money is sprinting away while income is jogging behind. I’m curious: - What strategies have you used to slow that “outflow”? - How do you stay disciplined when spending feels easier than saving? - Any mindset shifts that helped you get control? I’d love to hear your thoughts! Let’s figure out how to make our money work for us instead of running from us. 🚀

I try to "pay myself first" as in automatically I set aside X amount that goes from my checking account to my brokerage account so I can invest.

I own and operate a photography business. I want to use Skool to help people take better photos using their smartphone. Thus 'Phone Photography 101'
