Avoiding an emotion doesn’t make it go away. It makes it louder. When you avoid a feeling, it turns into a behaviour. Name the emotion and you instantly reduce it’s power
As Jung said "What you resist, persists" In other words trying to run away/avoid your emotions is temporary only, and serves no one in the long run. Recognize and Utilize the emotion in other words what is it why/when it's happening and how can we allow this to occur to pass and propell us forward in a more positive direction🙏
