What do you collect?
This just came up in convos that people collect some really cool things. Some things for sentimental reasons and some because they are worth money. The item we were talking about were the old school lunchboxes that have become collector items. So, what do you collect? And why? I collect essential oils 🤣 or I have a large collection of them that I use! And I collect books ... someday I will read them!

@Julianne Anderson I had to get rid on my collection of vinyl due to space constraints and downsizing. So I have managed to replace those and add to them with CDs, DVDs and when I cannot find a recording use streaming services. I had a vast cassette tape collection but over a period of time the tape oxidises and the the support pressure pads dry out.

@Julianne Anderson For me, its the most authentic medium. The sound of vinyl is unique.

A quick lil update from me...
I'm not feeling my best today... day two of 'something' getting me glued to the couch... so I'm taking a much-needed day to rest and recharge. I appreciate this community more than you know, and I'm so grateful that we've built a space where everyone shows up for one another. That got me thinking... who are you grateful for today? Who is your skool buddy? Let's shine a light on communities you love today! If it's one you genuinely love being part of of someone one you want to give a high-five too, I'd love for everyone to share. ✨𝗔 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀: • Shine the light on someone else! • One community link per comment. If you have more than one to share, make a separate comment for each. • Tell us why you recommend it. • Take a few minutes to visit other comments, say hello, and support each other. You never know... your next favorite community might be waiting in this thread! Thanks for keeping this place so welcoming while I take it a little easy today. I'll be back soon!

🚨 Hey! What's Your Problem?
It's "What's Your Problem Wednesday!"😅 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀: Post your problem. A real one. 𝙎𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘 you're stuck on right now in your business — not "I'm struggling with visibility," but the actual thing. The exact tool that's broken, the exact strategy you can't crack, the exact thing you've googled four times and still don't get. We help you solve it. Anyone in the community can jump in with real help — advice, a resource, "here's who you should talk to." 🚨🚨🚨 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗥𝗨𝗟𝗘 🚨🚨🚨 name it, don't link it...𝙮𝙚𝙩. If someone points you toward a tool, a community, a resource... great, they can tell you about it. But they don't drop the link 𝘂𝗻𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝘀𝗸 for it. You want it? Say so. That's it. That's the whole rule. It turns "here's a link, bye" into a genuine conversation. And because none of us have DMs unlocked until Level 7 anyway, so this keeps it all out in the open where everyone can benefit... not just the person who asked. So... what's your problem? 👇

@Glenn Summers Excellent advice.
Lie's About Being Busy
I spent a year barely leaving my house. It wasn't because I was lazy or lacked 'discipline.' It was because my nervous system finally broke. For years, I told myself I was just a 'high-achiever' who liked to move fast. I had this constant voice in my head: - Hurry up - Fix the problem - Prep for next week - Don’t you dare stop I thought it was urgency. Looking back, it was just pure anxiety in a suit. My body eventually stopped feeling safe. The world felt too loud, too fast, and too much. So I stayed inside. I didn't 'fix' it by reading a mindset book or 'powering through.' I fixed it by doing the smallest, most boring things imaginable. I’d sit in my car for five minutes in the driveway. No music. No phone. Just sitting. I'd walk to the mailbox and back. I'd sit on the porch for three minutes. I had to prove to my brain that nothing bad was going to happen if I slowed down for a second. Healing didn't look like a massive comeback. It looked like tiny moments of safety repeated over and over until my brain finally believed me when I said, "You're okay right now." If you feel like you're constantly 'behind' even when you're working 12 hours a day... that's a red flag. It might not be your work ethic. It might be your nervous system screaming for a break. Can anyone else relate to that constant, frantic 'need to move' feeling? What does it feel like for you?

I help former pianists overcome 'practice guilt' and life-busy-ness to rebuild a consistent, joyful habit and reclaim their musical identity.
