Today Is Pet Remembrance Day
Today we pause to honor the pets who forever changed our lives. They may have walked beside us for only part of our journey, but the love they gave remains with us every single day. Their wagging tails, gentle purrs, happy greetings, silly antics, and unconditional devotion become part of who we are. For those who have loved and lost a beloved companion, know that your grief is a reflection of a bond that was truly extraordinary. Love like that never disappears, it simply changes form. Today, light a candle, share a favorite photo, tell a cherished story, or simply take a quiet moment to remember the paw prints that will always remain on your heart. To every pet who has crossed the Rainbow Bridge, thank you for your loyalty, your comfort, your joy, and your unconditional love. You were never "just a pet." You were family. You were loved. You are remembered. You are missed. We'd love to honor them with you. Click the link and share on our Memorial Page, the name and a photo of a pet you'll never forget in the comments. https://www.skool.com/simcha-hub-of-pet-physiology-5304/about

Today Is Pet Remembrance Day
๐Ÿ˜ Freedom for Baby
The July 4th weekend seems like the perfect time to celebrate Baby's new beginning and her freedom to simply be an elephant. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’š After spending her entire life in captivity, first in a circus and later at a busy amusement park, Baby enjoying her new life at Global Sanctuary for Elephants. When the sanctuary team first met her, they noticed repetitive swaying, a behavior often seen in elephants living with chronic stress or limited stimulation. Since arriving at sanctuary, that behavior has already begun to lessen as she explores a world filled with new sounds, scents, grasses, palms, ponds, and mud wallows. Baby is enjoying her newfound freedom. She can take a bath when she wants. She can dust herself whenever she chooses. And scan scratch against a post, explore her habitat, or spend time in her barn if that's where she feels most comfortable. Those choices finally belong to her. To me, that's what freedom looks like. As we celebrate the July 4th weekend, I'm grateful that Baby is finally getting the chance to simply be an elephant. If you'd like to learn more about Baby's journey or support the incredible work of Global Sanctuary for Elephants here is the link. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ˜ I'm also sharing a video of Scott giving Baby a bath. Elephants love water, mud baths, and dust baths to help keep their skin healthy. Baby didn't receive many baths before arriving at sanctuary, so this everyday luxury has been a wonderful treat for her. Enjoy watching Baby get some love with the simple pleasures of being an elephant

The Forgotten Patriots: Animals Who Helped Build America ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
PET NUGGET OF THE DAY ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ As we celebrate America's 250th birthday, let's remember some of our nation's first heroes. They didn't wear uniforms. They wore fur and hooves. Horses carried soldiers, transported supplies, delivered messages, and charged into battle beside the Continental Army. Dogs served as sentries, warned camps of approaching danger, hunted for food, and stood faithfully beside the men who fought for our freedom. Without these loyal animals, many battles would have been even more difficult and maybe even lost. Today, we honor not only the brave Americans who fought for our independence, but also the animals who served beside them. Remember: Heroes also come with four legs! Happy 250th Birthday, America! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿพ Click that link to join us! https://www.skool.com/simcha-hub-of-pet-physiology-5304/about

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ SIMCHA HEALTHCARE NUGGET OF THE DAY ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
Declare Independence From Chronic Disease As America celebrates 250 years of freedom today, why not celebrate your own declaration of independence? Today, declare independence from the habits that slowly steal your health. Choose movement over sitting. Choose nourishing foods over processed ones. Choose water over sugary drinks. Choose restorative sleep instead of "I can survive on 4 hours sleep." Choose stress management over chronic stress. Choose prevention instead of waiting for illness. You don't have to change everything today. Just make one healthy choice that your future self will thank you for. Freedom isn't only about the nation we live in, it's also about having the health and vitality to fully enjoy the life we've been given. This Independence Day, make a declaration that matters: "I declare independence from the habits that steal my health." I Am A Daughter Of The American Revolution Happy 250th Birthday, America! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Click that link! https://www.skool.com/simcha-healthcare-3222/about

SIMCHA HEALTHCARE DAILY NUGGET - COFFEE ISN'T THE VILLAIN
Coffee Isn't the Villain It Was Made Out to Be. Surprise! They lied again! For years, coffee got a bad reputation. Today, research paints a very different picture. In moderation, coffee has been associated with: - Better brain function and focus - A lower risk of type 2 diabetes - Heart health benefits in many people - Liver protection, including a lower risk of fatty liver disease and cirrhosis - Powerful antioxidants that help fight oxidative stress What Functional Medicine Likes About Coffee - Chlorogenic acids (CGAs) support antioxidant pathways and metabolic regulation. - Coffee contains over 1,000 bioactive compounds with neuroprotective, anti-inflammatory, and anti-diabetic effects. - Epidemiological data show reduced risks of type 2 diabetes, Alzheimerโ€™s, cardiovascular disease, and kidney disease with regular, moderate consumption. The key is what you put in it, and the quality of the coffee itself. Skip the sugary syrups, flavored creamers, candy toppings, and whipped cream. Look for high-quality, mold-tested coffee from companies that screen for mycotoxins and contaminants. While not all coffee contains problematic levels of mold, choosing a brand that tests its beans can provide added peace of mind and help ensure you're getting a cleaner cup. If desired, add a splash of milk or an unsweetened plant-based alternative. I add a teaspoon of real grass fed organic butter. Bottom Line: Coffee isn't the problem. Poor-quality ingredients, added sugars, and highly processed creamers often are. Choose quality, keep it simple, and enjoy the benefits.
