@Brianna Youssef the crazy part to me is seeing your progression Bri, because when I first met you and you now, it is incredible! I'd love to hear more about your dance journey in the year and half! I also spoke to many people who feel the same way, somehow we need to find a way to make the barrier of entry for shines lower, so it becomes more accessible for everyone

Sorry for policing the chat 🚨🚔😂 I definitely want to make a video/or discussion about this too, a lot of times it is hard to know where to start with shines, and it is very easy to feel overwhelming, you are definitely not alone there. Actually my husband James said something very similar when I “made” him 🤭 come to a jazz class with me, and the structure & progressive curriculum made a lot of sense for him as a beginner. Instead of dumping all the shines & combo, there is definitely a better way of teaching!

@Quiana Erb 🙌🫡 it is so hard to see the whole picture and overthink for sure, all of us share this as dancers I fear... The best advice I've gotten and given has always been, if it really bothers you that much, then talk to the person. Simple, but so difficult to follow through!
