Sad yellow leaf smh
Found a yellow leaf in on of my gloriosums and it’s the biggest leaf on her, it’s so sad but I don’t cut it off or do anything till the plant takes all the energy off that one yellow leaf and it’s brown ! All the other leaves are good for now so fingers crossed

I do the same thing,, I take my finger walk by the plant oh so very gingerly with a slight tap if it falls off it was ready, if it’s hanging on for dear life, I’ll try another day.
🥗 The "Balanced Diet" (Fertilizer)
Let’s be real - Giving your plants nothing but water is like trying to live on nothing but plain crackers. Sure, you’ll survive for a while, but you definitely won’t be "living your best life." If you want those deep greens, explosive blooms, and leaves that don't look like they’re staging a protest, you’ve got to level up the menu. Here’s how to move past the "just water" phase and actually help your plants thrive. Plants need three main macronutrients to function. If you look at a fertilizer bag, you’ll see three numbers (N-P-K), which stand for: • Nitrogen (N): For lush, green foliage. Think of this as the "leaf maker." • Phosphorus (P): For strong roots and big flowers. • Potassium (K): For overall plant "immunity" and health. Pro Tip: Don’t overdo it! Too much fertilizer can "burn" the roots. It’s always better to under-feed than to over-feed.

I will also give a pro tip, Organic Potassium Fertilizer: don’t throw away your banana peels, take those banana 🍌 peels soak them in water in a sealed jar or container for 3 days…..now you have organic potassium fertilizer to mix with phosphorus and nitrogen fertilizer. 1 cut up banana peel to 1-1/2 cups of water. This recipe will be a concentrated dose will be diluted with another 3 cups of water when ready to feed those babies. Remember to double, triple, quadruple depending on how big your Jungle is. 🎍🎋🌴🌵🍀🪻🍄🌻🌸

I’m just crazy about house plants, fruit trees, succulents, cacti….being challenged to succeed with finicky plants making it workable in many areas
