5 Signs your Feeling Disconnected from yourself. 🤔
Have you felt like you've been drifting through the motions of the day? Get up. Get ready. Go to work. Come home and eat dinner. Watch TV. Go to bed. I've been there, and very recently at that. It's easy to disconnect from yourself, especially if you are struggling with liking who you are or where you are in life right now. The easiest path of least resistance is to just ignore and pretend that everything is fine. Lets be self aware for a moment- do you experience any of these 5 signs of disconnection? 1) Feelings of emptiness or numbness- feeling detached from yourself, almost as though you are watching your life as if it were a movie. feeling no emotion or connection to who you are or how you move through time and space. 2) Endless internal chatter- Mental dialogue that plays continuously throughout the day, never seizing. Thoughts about anything and everything, chaotic thoughts, ones that make you fixate or spiral. These are all examples of the internal chatter we hear. Sometimes we may even hear negative thoughts about who we are as people. 3) Shape-Shifting- In relationships, creating a fictitious version of yourself in an attempt to get people to like you or find value in you. Your desire to build connections, disconnects you from who you are, often mirroring their behavior. 4) Physical tension/somatic symptoms- Its easy to notice when your body is holding tension. this of often a symptom of chronic stress, fatigue or other underlying diagnosis. Your body stores these experiences which over time takes its toll on you health. 5) Indecisiveness- Unable to make basic decisions throughout your day. Decisions about what to eat, what to wear, and who to spend time with for example.

Hey @Kaylee Dunn , I saw you just launched your Skool community congrats on that. Quick question: are you currently focusing on how to get your first active members and set up strong engagement from the start? I work with new Skool communities to help them set up simple systems that attract members and keep them active early on. If you want, I can share a few things that usually help new communities grow faster in the first stage.

Glad to hear that @Kaylee Dunn strong engagement is definitely the right focus from the start. Would you mind sending me a quick DM? It’ll be easier to share a few specific ideas there without cluttering the comments.
