What do you collect?
This just came up in convos that people collect some really cool things. Some things for sentimental reasons and some because they are worth money. The item we were talking about were the old school lunchboxes that have become collector items. So, what do you collect? And why? I collect essential oils 🤣 or I have a large collection of them that I use! And I collect books ... someday I will read them!
What do you collect?
I moved out way too much to carry stuff that are not necessary. Minimalism all the way
@Heather Boers oh yeah I do colect books that I never get to read. But I get rid of some from time to time. Last move out it was only 2 boxes.
Can a stranger explain what you do?
Quick messaging test: Could a stranger explain what you do after reading just your first sentence? Not your full bio. Not after a discovery call. One sentence. Mine would be: “I help business owners and creators make their marketing clearer and more practical.” Drop yours below if you want a friendly green light, yellow light, or “this needs coffee and another go” response. 🚦

I help people receive free relevant feedback to improve their advertizing, not just from me, but from several relevant people.

The hardest part of YouTube isn't making the videos. It's getting those first views to take off. Let's do a quick networking thread to help get some eyes on your work. Drop your channel link below and tell us: 1. What your posting frequency is 2. Ratio of short to long form videos 3. One thing you're trying to improve right now If you leave a link, try to click on two other channels in the comments and give them some encouragement or a sub. Here's mine. Today I’m celebrating something pretty personal…
✨ 3 years sober ✨ 3 years alcohol-free ✨ 3 years with a much cleaner, clearer mind I don’t think I realized just how much mental fog I was living in until it finally started lifting. These last few years have changed me in more ways than I can explain. More clarity, more drive, more peace, more presence... more LIFE! And while it wasn't always been easy… it’s absolutely been worth it. So today I’m celebrating that. 💛 And I think we should ALL be celebrating something. Big or small. Personal or professional. Quiet or loud! Let's celebrate together! 👇 What are YOU celebrating today?

Don't be afraid to rebrand and restart if it's not working
I'm a tech guy. So I created a tech community. It didn't work out as I didn't make any sale with it. I always had in my mind that I suck at sales. Had 2 short sales jobs where my performance was abismal. I hated it. But after being on skool for 6 months and flopping hard on every attempt to sell my tech consulting services, offer after offer, rebrand after rebrand I decided to restart from scratch. And the idea was to have fun. Roast & Promote was created as a place where people can get reviews (AKA roasts) and get rewarded with ads for roasting others. In a little more than 2 months my overall skool profit is a bit more than 100 USD/month.And the community is at arounfd #300 in money category in discovery, one of the hardest of Skool. That's a big win for me. And it's all because I'm not afraid of reinvent myself, asking for feedback and fixing what is wrong. So I created a space that is optimized for that. And I'm thriving on a marketing/advertizing/sales community just a few months after being convinced that I sucked at all of that. Funny right? And I even share my community ideas for free, that are optimized by people's roasts. And you can do the same.

@Joe Sargent exacty. If your community feels like work for you, it will feel like work to everyone. And no one wants extra work
