@Alexi Drouin I can't agree more. It seems like globally we're still in a stage were we think people must be born learned and there's still not enough room for a growth mindset inside some companies. That coupled with cultures were sadism is rampant, tank or at best don't allow them to become the mammoths they could, if better cultures where people lived and worked to see the other flourish, were normalized.

I ran into this Vusi video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BFGhHBcn1gQ The signs that you´re scaling too fast could help us devise preventive strategies and a path to take if and when they happen: "This YouTube video from the VT MasterClass series discusses what to do when a business is scaling too fast. The video focuses on identifying telltale signs of overgrowth and strategies for managing this rapid expansion. The first telltale sign discussed is an acceleration in the number of customer complaints. A sudden spike in complaints indicates a potential problem with the business's systems and processes that needs to be addressed. Another crucial indicator of rapid growth is working capital problems. As businesses grow, their cash flow often lags behind their revenue, leading to a gap between income and expenses. This is due to the time lag between receiving orders, issuing invoices, and receiving payment from customers. The video stresses that while a business may appear to be doing well based on high turnover, it's essential to focus on actual cash flow, not just revenue. To combat this issue, businesses need to secure external funding sources, such as bank loans or fintech companies that offer forward lending. This allows businesses to receive immediate cash flow, covering the cost of fulfilling orders and staying afloat while waiting for customer payments. The video also highlights the importance of a skilled team capable of managing the complexities of rapid growth. This team needs to be able to model cash flow, understand financial cycles, and develop strategies for optimizing resources." Summarization made with TinaMind.

@Boniface G- Michael Appreciate this input and definitely! having the right set of skills makes anything less cumbersome and as you say: the thing is having them, which reminds me I need to read "Who not how"😵 ... Not to mention, how culture impacts what Alex says ... but with a growing middle class on almost all countries and generally big budgets in governments I bet there's always an angle to find in any expanding market.

I don't know, getting at least some training prior doing most things today, seems like a benefit. The fact he didn't read doesn't mean he didn't get information before doing his thing (as he recently acknowledge in this video: ) To understand a message, we must also understand the messenger and their motives. Alex is a very, very, veeeery intelligent man, with a native infrastructure most of us don't have. On top of that he's a marketer building a story for branding purposes. I'm not saying he's lying, I'm saying he's disclosing things as required and we do not have the full exact picture of what he did or not or how his experience in University and in his previous job as a consultant aided his information pipeline. I mean, his pattern recognition abilities are scary good and that gives him an edge most of us will have to encounter through courses, books and mentorships... And apply the damned things we learn. Right there, in the application step is where a big chunk of us falter
🚫 How can saying "no" increase sales effectiveness?
Reflect on Alex Hormozi's insights about using no-based questions in sales, as they can make customers feel safe and autonomous. What are some situations in your sales process where reversing a question could lead to a more positive outcome? Think about times when offering a customer a sense of safety could be pivotal to closing a deal. Share your scenarios or thoughts in the comments section below, aiming for a brief response of 25 to 100 words. This is wild... and it can speak to the conceptualizations we have of power. They're so tied up on how we were raised, and how we were treated in formative years during school. In any case, a great golden nugget I will play with for a long time. Thank you.
