Happy Monday!
What fun did you have in the garden this weekend? I taught a class on herbs & gut health and had a ball!

What fun!! I moved a perennial garden (I do this about every 4 to five years) and so I have a happy warm feeling. Fall can now happen.

P.S. You should through these recipes into the classroom with categories so that they are easily findable... though your post title is really good so that it is searchable.

What do like to grow in the cool season? I love leafy greens of all kinds ๐Ÿฅฌ

Spinach. I live in a short season area so I love cool loving vegetables and flowers. But I say spinach because after a long winter I'm starving for some fresh greens and I use this in smoothies.
Welcome!
What is your favorite plant to grow?

@Julie Robinson Broussard I'm like you, I can't choose. Basically it's about what is in season. Like when tomatoes are ripe, cilantro becomes one of my favorites.

Hmmm.... for herbs.... Nepeta "Walker's Low". It is a catmint and I haven't done anything with it medicinally. I use it for cut flowers and it is far superior, in my humble opinion, for that purpose. This one does not seed and go all over, it is well behaved.
Propagating By Bulb Slicing
This is a super simple way to get more bulbs! I used to get so upset when I sliced bulbs when trying to transplant or divide, now I know all I did was create more plants!

I have been a cut-flower grower and garden florist since 2007. My favorite flower is the one that's in season. I help people grow and sell flowers.
