Week 1
In technology, most sales people tend to do discovery on the technology to find a fit for their solution. They chase their success and not the customer. I have always based our success on the customer's success. Without their success and trust, how can you really have long term growth. I am only on 1.2 and the synapses are firing on how to improve the discovery approach through storytelling.

I agree today technology plays a big role in learning which one will fit best for their sales models. In the nonprofit world, a better part of this challenge which involves health is complicated by HIPPA compliance, data breaches, etc. If technology is unreliable, fails the user-friendly category, not only will you scare potential clients away, but you will also struggle with the internal side of the house in the sense that you cannot enter data, run reports, etc. Oh, let’s not forget those who have yet to understand said technology. The younger generation tends to adapt more quickly than the older generation. Then there is the cost factor. Free is tempting … you get what you ‘pay’ for… you need the technology to grow with you so you dont have to change it up all the time. There is no one size fits all category!
Impeccable Timing!
Yes! 🙌 I was floored to get the email that I had been accepted to this BETA training. Wow. While the begin date directly collided with my vacation, I knew we would find a path forward. The news came when we ported in Cozumel while I was on vacation that a major funding opportunity we had applied for was not accepted. I alerted the key personnel in our team. I know we need to find tune our operations, and this will be a great learning experience for me, personally, in addition to investing in my nonprofit team. I am truly humbled by those who are pouring into what we do… Its one of which they want to return what has been afforded to them. This is why the timing is impeccable… my services were recently valued at $200 per hour. What I have been doing for the past 5 years, at an average of 25 hours per week, while battling a major health crisis, and not paying myself a nickel, has most definitely caused me to step back to assess a forward path. Especially when so many nonprofits are throwing in the towel. i am looking forward to engaging in this group. Thank you!
