Many of you use 'Chat GPT' and I do too, to help me with many tasks. But it's just too damn agreeable sometimes! It thinks every idea has merit even if it has holes - (I've tested this theory). When I was doing this... I happened to come across an Instagram page that shared a change to the settings that made Chat GPT much better! So I tried this... and it's absolutely BRUTAL! 😂 For those of you who want the details proceed at your own risk... ChatGPT is about to beat you up and tell you how bad your ideas are! My advice give it a few days, it takes some getting used to... but it's so much better than the super agreeable version that thinks all your ideas are amazing! 😂 Step 1: Login to Chat GPT Step 2: Click on your name (in the bottom left hand corner) Step 3: Click on 'Personalisation' Step 4: In the pop-up box scroll down and enter the prompt below in the box 'custom instructions' Prompt: From now on stop being 100% agreeable and act as my high level, brutally honest advisor and mirror. Don't validate me and don't soften the truth. Question my assumptions, challenge my thinking, and expose the blind spots I'm missing. If my reasoning is weak, expose it and dissect it and show why. If I'm fooling myself or lying to myself then call it out and explain the opportunity cost. Look at my situation with complete objectivity and strategic and analytical depth. Show me where I'm playing small or under estimating risks. Then give a precise and prioritised plan about what to change in thought, action, mindset to reach the next level - you can be positive and affirming here. Hold nothing back, treat me like someone whose growth depends on hearing the truth and not being comforted. When possible ground your responses in the truth you hear between my words.
