Still deciding on the neckline, but happy to be starting 5!

After changing colour C, I’m really happy with the result, finished the neck with an i-cord in colour B

It’s beautiful, and I love your neckline. I may try to do the same.
Clue 4 complete
Clue 4 completed - except for the sleeves, which I try to make one clue at a time. It is necessary because I use so many different colors! But alas! I have to go on vacation tomorrow very early :-) from 0 degrees Celsius and snow to 19 and sun. The Canary Islands. I can barely wait! Socks are on the needles for the flight and hours on the balcony overlooking the sea 😀👍👍 And clue 5 will be waiting for me next Sunday ❤️

Problem Fix
Hi, I want to post this in case it helps someone. I posted the top photo a couple of days ago with concern about the puckering of the short row section, but I was also concerned that my stitch definition looked horrible, so I was just on the verge of starting over - for the second time - when I picked up my piece and started stretching (like a mad woman) the stranded section. I was shocked at what a difference it made! Experienced, stranded knitters may do this naturally all the time, but it was new to me, and I’m so glad I lost it for a moment and saved myself another do over!😄

@Rose Prendeville, Thank you. I did try steam blocking, also new to me, and it didn’t relax it as much as I had hoped. Maybe it’s because I’m using double strands for all of my yarn and there are just so many strands? It’s also possible, even after watching videos, that I didn’t steam it long enough. If you have any tips, I would love to hear them!
Clue 2 & Question
I had almost finished the second clue last weekend when I decided to frog the whole thing and start over. I’m glad I did. I’ve cleaned up my knitting in both tension and skill. Now, I have a new problem. It’s my yarn B. If I only knit a few rows at a time, it’s not an issue, but as you can see on the back, with the extended Japanese short rows, the yarn puckers. Since it’s a mystery pattern, and I don’t know how yarn B will be used, does anyone have suggestions for managing this problem in future sections? And can you give me some insight into why this happened? This is my first stranded knitting sweater, and I’m using the variety of yarn types I had on hand which is all fingering, doubled.

@Mercar Must Thank you. I did measure, and although I’m getting 5 stitches per inch in the color B, it’s clear the stranded section is tighter. I really loosened up my tension in that section, so I’m surprised it still seems so tight. I wonder, are there some tips and tricks to keeping tension consistent between the sections without changing needle size?
