Car package mix-up
Has anyone ever seen a 1/64 car packaged incorrectly? I have a 1970 Super Bee packaged with a Chevy badge. The car is in a blister pack from Motor Trend 50th anniversary, upper left corner. On the right side is "10 Years, Racing Champions, Mint Platinum, Plated Precious Metals Series. It's from 1999. If I can figure out how to add a photo or a video, I will add it.
1,000 collectors. And weโ€™re just getting started.
The club opened its doors on January 13. Just over a month laterโ€ฆ weโ€™re already 1,000+ members strong. That kind of growth is exciting. But what matters even more is whatโ€™s happening after people get here. The posts. The finds. The trades. The conversations. The energy showing up in this community every day. Because of that momentum, the club is about to start rolling out some new things over the next few days and weeks. Features, upgrades, and tools built around what this community is already doing. No big announcements yet. Just knowโ€ฆ this next phase is coming fast. This place is being built with you, not just for you. And honestly, this is still day-one energy. So letโ€™s mark the moment. Drop ONE thing in the comments: What keeps you coming back to diecast? The hunt The cars The memories The community Or something else? Just one word or a quick answer. Letโ€™s see what this club is really built on.

Mustangs
Iโ€™ve been collecting Mustangs now for about 25 years, but I also have a lot of other muscle cars from the 60โ€™s and 70โ€™s. Iโ€™ve never counted them all but if I had to guess, probably around 300 to 400 cars. I have about 80 1/18 scale and the rest are 1/64. Mostly Hot Wheels and Johnny Lightning. I have a lot of the M5 cars also. I canโ€™t pass up a Super Bee if I see one, but they are not as prevalent as a lot of other cars. I bought a lot of the Hot Wheels Muscle car 2 car sets, sometimes they did 3, 4, or 5 car sets. I have a nice selection of those as well. Many of my 1/64 cars are still in boxes as I lack the space to display them. I suppose at some point, I may need to do an inventory to get an idea of what I have and asses a value. That will be fun.

After losing all my hot wheels in a move in 1976 at the age of 18, I didnโ€™t become interested in die cast cars again until around the age of 45 or so.
