The B-47 was the mighty predecessor of the B-52, and somewhat resembled it, similar but a bit smaller in size, An initial USAF very long range heavy bomber, needed to fly long routes, on nuclear bombing missions, late 50s
Beakthroughs in Dementia Study, and Science:
This looks very interesting.... I am skeptical but I/you/we need to look more closely at this: The medical researcher, interviewed here, with DECADES of experience, after his team's findings recently became public, luckily survived an assassination attempt, with a car bomb hidden in his car, which blew up right next to him, in the parking lot where he parked it and had a delayed departure in the car....Like a horror Spy movie, but real. Remember a recent post, I think to our Fellowship, that a troubling trend, and numbers of competent scientists are disappearing without a trace? https://www.neurostudynews.com/vsl1/digi?media_type=video&utm_source=FB&utm_campaign=%5BWEH2B1va%5D%5BABO%5D%5BMEMORYLOSS%5D%5B50EUA%5D%5B104156675368082%5D%5BESCALA%5D%5B1-50-1%5D%5BON%5D%7C120242761431040543&utm_medium=WEH2B1va%7C120242761431540543&utm_content=WEH2B1va%7C120242761430710543&utm_term=Facebook_Desktop_Feed&placement=Facebook_Desktop_Feed&utm_id=120242761431040543&fbclid=IwY2xjawRimoNleHRuA2FlbQEwAGFkaWQBqzAno7pob3NydGMGYXBwX2lkEDIyMjAzOTE3ODgyMDA4OTIAAR4MBztlKoCD8ZNCiUJ2Z3vP80-9IxQNKImCKt7qCFc5UnEn8uD1VMxbDnwIGg_aem_UaF92JP_32u6YCgBv-f6-Q&twrclid=69f5bb34dfc33f6fd202e45e

Geodesic Half-Dome construction for outbuildings
I'm thinking about putting up a geodesic half-dome in my backyard to use as a greenhouse. All one needs to do this is 24 rigid beams (such as 2x4s) all the same length, and 11 vertex connectors that each link 5 of these beams together. There are products out there, such as the Magidome® Geodesic Dome Connector kit. But, thinking along a Zombie Tech build, I'm wondering how one might create connectors from stuff that one would normally have on hand. Such as cardboard! Remember the video I shared awhile on making cardboard furniture? I'll share it again here. I'm thinking that cardboard might be an ideal material to handle this task. What about using papercrete? Check out the discussion that starts at 5:30 on the video. What do you think?

Maybe a design that could be used to make a rotary dome on a circular rail track base for an ambitious Astronomer building his home high end telescope.

By Jove, I have it. I worked with and around various Wild Fire organizations, on making better, or possibly unmanned lookout towers which are mostly gone now but started around turn of the 20th century. Like the Forest Service, Cal Div of forestry, various firefighting Civil entities, etc. Build a dome free to spin on a circular track, on a high, advantage point. This photo shows how to easily mount a sighting device at about standing eye level to look for and spot a developing fire, perhaps a lightning strike. Make a circular compass rose on the ground with say, 3 degree hash marks, North arrows, magnetic and true, have handles in the interior structure so you can manually and accurately turn the whole system on rails. Simply sight the worrisome smoke, no need for precision. and note the azimuth from your location. you could even place an older but still functioning Smart phone in a cradle at eye level, some sights, maybe like rifle Iron sites, nothing fancy, and sight the smoke. If you have a cell phone with compass capability then mount it to exactly true north, simply read off the azimuth, or bearing to the source of smoke. (from the phone digital display, (or, from the metal tracks compass rose hash marks) round the site, direct read azimuth (0-360 degrees) The pictures below, are from CHEWS RIDGE fire Lookout, in the USFS forest, about 25 miles SE of Monterey Peninsula. And about 5080' elevation. And used since 1968 or so for Field Day contesting operations. For me, 1969, to the present, nearly every FD year.
New device, new exercise, to help aging memory. Does it work? Legit?
