Mental Detox — Day 17 Becoming Stable Enough for What You’re Asking For
Sisters, Wealth responds to consistency, not emotion Today’s Mental Detox session challenged us to look honestly at something many people overlook: Wealth is not attracted to excitement… it is attracted to stability. Many people want increase, opportunity, and overflow — but struggle to maintain the level of consistency required to hold it. Feelings change. Circumstances change. Energy changes. But discipline must remain steady. We explored how emotional inconsistency can quietly delay progress: Starting when motivated… Stopping when uncomfortable… Questioning when results are slow… Changing direction too often… Nothing stable can be built on unstable patterns. We studied the Parable of the Talents, where increase was given to those who consistently stewarded what they were given — not those who allowed fear to interrupt action. We also examined Isaac in Genesis 26, who continued to sow even during famine. While others reacted to uncertainty, Isaac remained disciplined — and the result was a hundredfold return. The principle is clear: Consistency builds trust. Trust creates opportunity. Opportunity creates increase. Wealth is not built on occasional effort. It is built on repeated aligned action. When your thinking becomes consistent… your behavior becomes consistent… your identity becomes consistent… Your results become predictable. And predictable results create wealth.

Nothing stable can be built on unstable patterns. This is why things in my life are not producing the results I want. I'm a good starter but not a strong finisher. When things get messy in the middle of situation. my default is to get all caught up in my feelings. And before I know it the Plan I laid out is discarded because I get discouraged. After today's teaching , I see the things I need to change to be more discipline, so I can be more consistent to achieve the things I want. I am preparing for the overflow and the blessings the Lord wants to give to me.
Mental Detox — Day 16 Becoming the Container That Can Hold Wealth
Today we focused on a powerful truth: Increase follows capacity. Desire alone does not sustain wealth — structure, discipline, emotional stability, and maturity do. Jim Rohn reminds us: “Your income rarely exceeds your level of personal development.” Money does not fix instability — it exposes it. In 2 Kings 4, the widow’s oil did not stop because God ran out of supply. It stopped when the containers ran out. The miracle matched the capacity. Preparation is not delay — it is alignment. We are not just asking for more. We are becoming more.

as I was listening to today's teacher, I thought about that old gospel song There's a leak in this old house. if I don't fix my mindset and change my behavior, I cannot read the capacity needed for the growth I desir. I have to stop living in the past and here in the present, I need to build behaviors and habits that will sustain the future that I dream about. Try me again Lord I'm Ready
Mental Detox Day 15 Theme: Mental Clutter — Clearing the Noise That Blocks Clarity
Today’s session reminded us that feeling stuck is often a symptom of overload, not inability. Many of us are carrying mental clutter — unfinished decisions, competing priorities, repeated thoughts, and the weight of expectations that were never meant for us to carry. Mental clutter creates silent stress. Even when the body rests, the mind continues working, replaying conversations, analyzing outcomes, and trying to manage too many directions at once. This constant internal noise blocks clarity and makes simple decisions feel heavy. We explored the story of Martha and Mary and learned that the issue was not effort — it was distraction. Too many things were competing for attention. Clarity is not created by doing more. Clarity is created by removing what does not belong. When the mind becomes crowded, focus weakens. When focus weakens, confidence feels distant. But when we intentionally release what is unnecessary, mental space opens — and clarity naturally returns. Order creates peace. Peace creates clarity. Clarity creates movement. Sisters always remember: A.W.D. “Clarity comes when the mind knows what it’s responsible for — and what it’s not.”

Today's exercise really helped me prioritize things in my life. When things are cluttered up in your mind, they all seem to have the same importance, but when we vote them down, I realize that everything didn't need to be done today or this week and that took a lot of pressure off of me. I'm gonna be honest though when she said fold that paper up, I was shaking in my boots. It was like the task on the papers were yelling wait wait what about us?😂 and I had to assure them and my mind that I would be back for them later when it was their turn. But I can tell you once I folded the paper and slid it in my book my body and mind felt more relaxed.
Mental Detox Day 13: Rewiring Your Default Settings
Today’s Mental Detox session revealed a powerful truth: Most of what we call “personality”… is actually programming. Many of our reactions were formed in seasons where we had to survive — not thrive. When money felt uncertain. When stability felt fragile. When we learned to stay small in order to stay safe. Our nervous system created default settings designed to protect us. But protection is not the same as alignment. Today, we explored how old mental settings can quietly influence how we: • respond to opportunity • interpret uncertainty • view money • see ourselves • expect outcomes We examined the story of the Israelites in the wilderness and saw how even after being delivered, their minds still expected lack. Freedom was present… but their thinking was still conditioned by survival. We also studied the difference between the ten spies and Joshua & Caleb. Same land. Same opportunity. Different internal settings. One group saw giants. The other saw promise. Your environment does not determine your future. Your interpretation does. Default settings can be updated. Just because a reaction feels automatic does not mean it is permanent. Awareness creates choice. Choice creates change. Change creates expansion. Today’s work invites you to notice where your mind may still be expecting limitation in areas where growth is now available. You are not starting over. You are upgrading what is already within you.

I definitely identify with the 10 spies. I can see that the land is good. I can see the blessings and the promises, but I can hear the roar of the Giants. I can feel the ground trembling as they walk and I can see them standing guard with their sword drawn. So I tell myself there's no way that this could be for me . I'm so focused on the problems that I don't focus on the solutions. I forget that the Lord said go in and possess the land. I don't walk in the promise that if God is for me who could be against me. Moving forward I pray that God gives me the courage to step into the blessings he's provided, and that I shall see the promises of the Lord come to pass in my life

Mental Detox Day 12: Familiar Patterns
Familiar does not mean aligned. Many people stay in the same cycles not because opportunity is missing, but because the mind and body prefer what is known. Familiar habits feel safe… even when they no longer serve your growth. Familiar financial patterns. Familiar conversations. Familiar environments. Familiar reactions. Patterns create predictability, but predictability does not always create progress. Growth often feels uncomfortable because it requires new decisions, new discipline, and new standards. Unfamiliar does not mean wrong. Unfamiliar often means you are evolving. Your future requires new patterns. Small intentional changes, repeated consistently, create transformation. Today we identified the patterns that no longer align with where we are going and made a decision to interrupt the cycle. Awareness creates freedom. Freedom creates new choices. New choices create new results.

Writing down the patterns that are familiar to me was an eye-opener. I definitely can see the patterns I thought were protecting me were actually causing harm in my life. Today I choose to build healthier habits that will help me walk into the blessings that God has for me New habits create new results
