Yesterday’s teaching has been sitting with me. January is about alignment before function. Before we talk about hearing clearly or moving in the prophetic, we have to ask a deeper question: Who are you beyond the gift? That’s why we began with Prophetic Identity. If your sense of self only activates when you’re being used, then silence will feel like rejection instead of invitation. Identity must come before clarity. In this teaching, we talk about: - Who you are in the secret place - Why identity cannot be built on gifting - Character as the container for the anointing - Learning to be with God, not just hear from Him This is foundational work. Quiet, necessary work. I want you to go through this teaching intentionally. Sit with it. Journal through it. Let the Lord speak to who you are becoming, not just what you are called to do. How can I rewatch Give me oil?

You can have a strong prophetic gift and still be spiritually immature. You can prophesy accurately and still lack intimacy with God. You can activate your gift and still have no idea who you are. The prophetic is not a performance. It is not a badge of spiritual superiority. It is not proof that you have arrived. The prophetic is an invitation into deeper relationship with the One who speaks. I need you to hear and understand that God will give you access to the gift before He gives you the maturity to steward it well. Your gift will open doors that your character is not ready to walk through. Your prophetic accuracy can grow while your identity remains fragile. This is why so many prophetic voices burn out, fall into pride, or become obsessed with being seen and validated. The question is not: Can you hear God's voice? The question is: Do you know who you are when God is silent? Before we activate anything, we establish everything. Identity first. Gift second. Who are you when there's no crowd??
