I've been using the current commenting system to begin climbing my way to the top of the leaderboards. The way that I've done this is not only by helping out and providing value. But through being first. I'm all for giving the first comments more exposure and a chance to be at the top, since they're the ones who got on it and replied. The problem is that it just doesn't encourage genuine interaction and valuable comments. 💢 I've more than once gotten into a comment section where other people are typing at the same time moving to be first. This means that all of us don't take the time to sit and think about the absolute best comment we can think of. Instead the first okay one because it will garner more likes since it's at the top. 🙃 Changing this would not only lead to more genuine engagement and higher quality comments, it would also help people understand how to make better comments through a better use of the liking system. ⬇️ Is this something that you'd want changed to?
