Fear & insecurity can create distance in our relationship with God by making us feel unworthy or afraid to approach Him. It's like putting up a wall that blocks you from fully experiencing His love and presence. However trusting in God's love and grace can help break down those barriers.

I sometime struggle with doubt so a great verse with that is "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding" (Proverbs 3:5).

After class, I had an encounter at work and I just clocked in and I saw one of my leads walking by and I just felt prompted to ask if he was OK and he told me he was but I felt like that wasn’t the truth and so I let it go for a few minutes, but then I felt prompted again to ask if he needed healing for something he asked if I was “psychic” I laughed but it turns out he’s had a very tough year along with his wife & kids and I prayed for him and the act of obedience to God‘s voice in that moment was really worth it! Next time I would just press in a little more and not second-guess what it is I’m feeling from God and just act on it the first time because if God hadn’t spoke to me a second time, I probably wouldn’t have said anything.

Sometimes I struggle with comparison, but then I remind myself that I shouldn’t be comparing my walk or my calling or my journey with anyone else’s because mine is unique and tailored to fit me and it’s going to be a unique testimony for someone else down the road. Plus, if I’m committed to what God has for me then he can work even more through me and personally, I love being used by God.

I realized the common emotion that I feel with that list of people is pain so I’m just constantly reminding myself that it no longer has power over me and that I forgive them every single day. It’s a hard thing sometimes but I know that it’s not for them it’s actually for myself and they will just benefit from it so really everyone wins if I forgive, that’s how I look at it.
